  I have lived here for almost 3 years everything here is old ans not updated recently se had roaches and managment refused to tent also it took a year to get a working heater and management changes every six months along with maintainance not to mention the fact that there is mold through the ceiling that they just painted over. Also if u are late on rent expect to pay 200 to 500 in late fees! Moving tomorr0 and I can't wait go have a place where things lime cheap blunts and windows with no ceiling in them are not an issue. I will post pictures of mold at later date

  I have been living here at Westerly Shores for 2 years now. This last year under a new property manager Amanda. The area itself is very conveniently located to many ameneties in beautiful oxnard. Always a short drive to anthing you want to do. The grounds are always tended to on a weekly basis, as soon as Amanda got here there was a HUGE improvement on how the complex looked with new paint on all the buildings and a remodel of our now gorgeous pool area. Not to mention the manager ensured the peace of mind and safety of everyone by installing a new set of CCTV cameras around the premises and created a good sense of security by using a roving guard service in the evening. Maintenance is OUTSTANDING the gentleman who runs it is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He is always timely for maintenance request and has always answered the emergency line when ive had issues on a weekend or late at night. This place had a less than positive reputation about it when the last manager ran things but with Amanda here I have no doubt that things have turned around. People have problems with personal responsibility, they complain about the area, they complain about rules but this is a living enviroment and at the end of the day people need to be able to lay their heads down and sleep without worry. If youre an ADULT who is looking for a nice aparment comunity, if you can take care of your life and your area around you I couldnt reccomend this place anymore. Very Military friendly, and awesome for living in between the two bases. Two thumbs up!

  Save your money from this rathole!! Horrible experience with management! It is located in an awful and dangerous part part of town where there is always homeless and crakheads wondering around the area. We would constantly get a strong sent of marijuana coming from our downstairs neighbors and tenets and I filed multiple complaints and nothing was done about it. Management has no control over their property. Amanda, the community director has a nasty attitude with certain tenets. I would often see her smoking behind the pool and around other areas of the apartment complex where kids played. Look somewhere else, there are better options out there.

  Save your money and do not rent here, looks can be deceiving. I was a tenant here for a year and everything was well with the old manger Soña. She lived on the property and was there to help us when we needed assistance. Unfortunately, three months into our contract we got a new manager, she was not as friendly as Soña and she did not live on the property. She would leave during office hours and the laundromat was not open the times it says they would be. We told her multiple times that our bathtub was chipping and badly treated before we even got there. Nothing was done even though we asked multiple times and showed her pictures. A month before we left they finally decided to take care of this problem. Furthermore, the pool was constantly closed and the few times that it was open we got kicked out for having a BBQ even though we were following the rules. She had preferences of who she wanted to be kind to. She smoked on property that was full of kids. The rent would constantly go up every single month, we made sure that we notified her a month before that we left. We cleaned very well and we did not have pets nor were we allowed to wear shoes on the carpet and she is refusing to give us back out down payment and not only that but she is charging us $925 for “damages” two months after we left the property. If I can give this property a 0 start I would.
