I’ve been living here for a while, and while there are some positives to the community, there are a few ongoing issues that really need to be addressed. The elevators seem to shut down far too often. When the elevator is out of service, residents are forced to use the stairs, which is especially difficult for anyone with mobility issues, elderly residents, pregnant residents, or anyone carrying groceries and other heavy items. There is also no air conditioning in the stairwells, so having to walk several floors in hot weather can be extremely uncomfortable. If you live on one of the upper floors, good luck when the elevator goes down. I also think the building needs to do much more when it comes to accessibility. An elevator being frequently unavailable is already a major inconvenience, but it becomes a serious problem for residents who physically cannot use the stairs. The parking situation through Parkade is another major frustration. In theory, the system sounds convenient, but in reality, it can be difficult to actually rely on your assigned/rented space. People will randomly park in spaces they shouldn't be using, and then residents have to go back and forth with the leasing office about who is supposed to be parked where. You can reserve a parking space for a guest, but by the time your guest actually arrives, someone has often already taken the space—even though it was reserved. This makes the reservation system feel pretty meaningless when there’s no guarantee that the space will actually be available when your guest gets there. Honestly, it seems better for residents to rent a parking space directly through the leasing office rather than rely on the Parkade app. The app can be convenient for guests, but for residents, it can be frustrating. You can report someone through the app when they park in your reserved space, but it may still take hours for them to locate the owner of the vehicle and have them move it. In the meantime, you're the one inconvenienced even though you’re the person who actually reserved or rented the space. I think the parking system would work much better if residents were simply assigned designated parking spaces through the leasing office, while keeping Parkade as an option for guest parking. That would eliminate a lot of the confusion and unnecessary back-and-forth over people parking in someone else's space. Another issue is the trash situation, especially on trash days. Some residents will leave their trash piled up inside the trash chute rooms instead of properly disposing of it. This causes the entire hallway to smell, which is really unpleasant for everyone living nearby. I think residents need to be more considerate about how they dispose of their trash, but management should also do more to address the issue and keep these areas clean. As for noise, some neighbors can be pretty loud at night. However, I think that's something that comes with living in a multi-story apartment building and isn't necessarily unique to this community. You can hear people walking around or making noise from time to time, so I wouldn't consider that my biggest complaint. There are definitely things I like about living here, but the recurring elevator, parking, and trash problems have become increasingly frustrating. Management should seriously consider improving accessibility and making the parking system more straightforward and reliable for residents.

This place can be very confusing for visitors and delivery drivers. There are two buildings that look almost identical, but there is very little clear signage to distinguish them. The building numbers are also difficult to find or not clearly displayed. The entry system is fairly complicated and relies on an integrated electronic access system, while the signs around the entrances are not very clear either. If you’re visiting someone who lives here or making a delivery, it can be surprisingly difficult to figure out which building and entrance you’re supposed to use. I hope the building management will consider improving the signage, making the building numbers more visible, and providing clearer directions at the entrances. These relatively simple improvements would make the property much easier to navigate for residents’ guests, delivery drivers, and other visitors.

Not bad actually pretty well. The only concern is that our neighbors do not appear to be able to distinguish between normal everyday living noise and intentionally excessive noise during the community’s quiet hours. But trestle workers doing fantastic job!
