  MANAGEMENT IS SHADY AND DISHONEST! 2 person household, paying $158 a month for sewage. You are paying for the utilities of the grandfathered in apartments. The managers will lie to you, tell you the rent is XXX amount and then change 300+ for monthly utilities. Please don't be fooled by the act that's put on. This complex has been gouging for years. :-( Such a shame because families live here and are working just to keep up with the outrageous prices that were not admitted in our contracts. ASK ABOUT GRANDFATHERED IN UNITS. Also note that they charge you 3 months backdated. This is my utility bill for June but I am getting charged for March-April. Managers are disingenuous, evasive and rude when you ask for explanations. We have kept a variety of documentation since we have lived here.

  DO NOT RENT HERE! Update: Finally got the deposit back with our final utilities bill deducted— a bill that we’d been requesting for a breakdown on for MONTHS and my parents are STILL being harassed by creditors even though the bill is paid. Again we cannot get a real human on the phone or via email and it’s been over three months. We’ve also stopped by multiple times and no one is ever there. Like an idiot, I read these reviews and did not heed their advice thinking nothing could go wrong with a short-term lease. The other post on here about shady utilities calculations and no one being around is spot-on. I’ve never encountered a business that feels more like a scam than this one. Do not rent here. — My elderly parents (who were visiting from MT with a short-term lease) moved out three months ago and we still cannot get anyone to call us back to return our deposit and explain a final bill we received. The AI agent they use, Emma, seems to work for maintenance issues but is infuriating for everything else. It is not worth it to rent here; you will pay for it later. If the folks at Trailhead are reading this, you have a million messages from me and my assistant; please call or email me back to resolve this issue. (Do NOT suggest I call, email, or visit you - we’ve done all three repeatedly and have yet to reach a human.)

  These apartments are on the cold side of the hill and they are supposedly remodeled and retrofitted. But, my aunts apartment in her kitchen and bedroom have a slope to them.

  If I could give a rating of 0 I would without hesitation. Me & my family have been renting for a little over a year. Early in our renting journey, Trailhead changed management. The new landlord has been nothing but terrible in so many ways. These have been witnessed first hand or witnessed/included another individuals and then told to me directly. I am extremely unimpressed with this new landlord as someone who is supposed to be "professional". For her, business is business and nothing else. She doesn't realize that this is where people live and it's part of our livelihood. She lacks empathy, compassion, & professionalism. Below are examples of both quotes of things that she has said as well as situations that have occurred. -"I don't care if anyone likes me, it means I'm doing my job." -incident w/ another employee where individual was sick/not feeling well (blatantly looking very unwell), denied him leaving early because she didn't want to fall behind on work around the property, denial led to sickness worsening drastically and resulted in hospitalization; my husband was standing there when individual was denied after asking to go home and rest -will say one thing to one tenant and something else to another; inconsistent -didn't want to give me new closet doors for my daughter's room despite the mirrors being in a safety hazard state; frame of mirror doors were broken, glass was exposed -didn't want to give me wooden sliding doors despite being safer and wanted to continue to replace the current doors with MORE mirror doors because it was cheaper for her budget -has made racist/discriminatory comments to prior neighbors before they moved out; "I don't know about where you're from, but here in America we pay taxes." -talks about tenants behind their backs -overheard by my neighbor speaking about my personal finances with higher ups to the extent that's none of her business; "What could they be spending their money on?" and "They get paid and spend it right away." She has made this property uncomfortable to live on. No one should have to feel this way when trying to call a place home.
