  I stayed at Villa Carlota expecting a polished, high-quality furnished apartment experience, but unfortunately it fell far short. The property presents itself as luxury, but the reality doesn’t match. The design and decor feel overreached and under-executed—like an attempt at sophistication that never quite lands. Instead of feeling intentional or elevated, the space comes across as disjointed and underwhelming. More importantly, the environment is not suited for anyone seeking a calm, professional stay. Noise was a consistent issue, with frequent disturbances and a general lack of control over the atmosphere. It felt closer to a transient party environment than a well-managed residential property. For anyone traveling for work or expecting a refined, high-standard stay, this was a disappointing experience. The mismatch between branding and reality made it particularly frustrating, as it impacted the overall quality of my trip.

  Discovered a great jazz night as we walked by. Vanessa, the GM, was super cool and hung out with a new group of neighbors. Highly recommend this furnished apt place in the cool neighborhood of Beachwood Canyon.
