  I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with the leasing office at Crenshaw Lofts was frustrating enough that I felt other prospective tenants should know what to expect. When I first reached out, everything seemed fine. However, as soon as I started asking questions during the application process, the communication became extremely disappointing. The leasing office was incredibly difficult to reach. Calls frequently went unanswered, and when I did receive a callback, it often felt like I had to start from scratch because no one seemed to remember who I was or the conversations we’d already had. There were also multiple inconsistencies between what was advertised online and what I was being told by the leasing staff. Information about the unit, including the unit number and size, changed depending on who I spoke with. As someone preparing to sign a lease and make a major financial commitment, that lack of consistency made it difficult to trust the information I was receiving. What bothered me most was the attitude I experienced whenever I had questions. Instead of feeling like a valued prospective resident, I often felt as though my questions were an inconvenience. Applying for an apartment is a significant decision, and applicants should be able to ask for clarification without feeling rushed or dismissed. The building itself appears to be beautiful and offers great amenities, which is why I was initially so excited. Unfortunately, the leasing experience completely overshadowed that excitement. Customer service is often the first impression a property gives, and in my case, it raised enough concerns that I ultimately decided to withdraw my application. I genuinely hope the management team improves their communication, consistency, and professionalism because the property has a lot of potential. Based on my experience, however, I could not move forward with confidence.
