  I hope this information helps anyone considering renting at Casa Granada. I lived here in a studio for a 12-month lease, and it came with some major red flags. First, I wasn't allowed to see the apartment in person before signing the lease—only a virtual tour. Because of my circumstances, I moved forward anyway. On move-in day, make sure to take detailed photos and fill out the move-in condition form thoroughly. Communication with management is generally slow and difficult. When my lease was ending, I requested to be notified of and present for the pre-final inspection, but no one contacted me. During my last week, I asked someone to come in person while I was packing; the staff member stayed for barely two minutes, left, and I signed the move-out paperwork and paid my final rent. Under California law, landlords must return the security deposit within 21 days. Instead, I received an invoice claiming I owed nearly $300, with deductions for painting and cleaning fees that completely wiped out my deposit—which is illegal. When I called management, they told me to wait for the detailed invoice to understand the charges. Once I received it, I emailed them back pointing out all the illegal charges, backed up by the photos I took on my last day. Management ignored all my emails. Suddenly, instead of the $300 bill, they changed their mind and sent me a $117.62 refund with no itemized breakdown. Because management refuses to explain charges over the phone or reply to emails, I am sharing my experience so future renters don't get ripped off. Be very careful: they may try to keep your full security deposit and charge illegal fees upon move-out.

  I signed up to View a property through your link and when I got to my appointment time, they said there was not a small two bedroom available to view that was frustrating so I did not see a property this visit

  We had the best time living at CG apartments. Right from the time we moved in till we had to leave: our 2.5 years at Casa granada were beautiful and very memorable. The property is amazing- has an inhouse swimming pool and gym to relax and workout in. The washer dryer rooms are also very clean and neat .The apartments are extremely spacious, the maintenance and reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Every service request we had was completed in less than 24 hours. We definitely would love to come back and stay here as soon as we can! A big Thank you to Dennise, Nelson and Glen for making our stay so memorable

  Absolutely love living here! The facilities are clean as ever, the plants and trees make it feel like a little safe heaven get away from the city. The management is so accommodating and easy to work with and get a hold of, unlike many other places I have lived where management is a ghost team. If anything is wrong with my unit, it’s fixed promptly. There’s a great gym and cardio center and it has a sauna! So no need for a crazy expensive equinox membership. I have only good things to say, I’ve been here over a year and I do not plan on ever leaving unless I move cities. 10/10
