    My wife and I wish we'd never moved in. DO NOT RENT HERE. The plumbing in the walls produce a rushing water sound so loud that it wakes us up every night. 60-70 decibels according to my meter. Requests to move to another unit have been met with mostly silence with occasional sprinklings of "We're waiting for a response from corporate.", "There's a new person in that position and they need time.", and "The person we'd talk to for this is gone this week." It's been two months since we made the request after patiently waiting to see if the problem could be fixed. I've never experienced anything like this in ~30 years of renting apartments. All we want is to live in a place where we can sleep through the night! We'd never have signed the lease if we'd known the plumbing issue existed, but it didn't occur during the tour. Constant issues with the "newly renovated" our apartment. Some examples are: - Termite droppings coming out of the outlets and cracks around the window in our toddler's room. - Window in the master bedroom leaked the first time it rained. - Heater produces enough smoke to set off the smoke detector. - Terrible sewage smell coming from a crack in the baseboard after rain. - Towel bars falling off the wall because they didn't bother to put in drywall anchors. (lol) To be fair, they've been prompt in addressing the issues aside from the plumbing, but I've put in more requests here in the first few months than I have in the last 10 years of renting at other places combined. We've been incredibly patient with the leasing office staff, but we're so tired of all of this.

    The current management is abysmal at best. Brandon has driven this place into the ground. It sucks because otherwise this has been a great place to live. Urgent repairs to the common areas like the security gate, parking gate and washer/dryers get put on the back burner for pointless projects like repainting a curb or changing out doors or "upgrading" our fitness rooms & conference rooms. They shut down some rooms for over a year just for some basic "renovations." Management used to have our external windows cleaned regularly (since we can't hop on a ladder and clean them ourselves), sidewalks pressure washed (again, since we can't do it ourselves bc there isn't really access to an outdoor water source/garden hose) and garden areas on point. I've seen trash stains on the ground and stairs that stayed there for over a year. Windows have dirt and bird droppings until the rain comes. Never had rats in the common area until Brandon started running the show. The guy is too busy setting up a half-baked automobile log to harass residents about towing their cars if they haven't checked every single vehicle with him like he's the DMV. I will say the maintenance crew is top tier and does get stuff done for you when you request it. The neighborhood is great. Great grocery stores. Awesome eats. Ample street parking. As long as you have low expectations for management you'll like living here. I keep to myself and keep my apt clean and put in repair requests as needed. Enjoy the area, avoid dealing w management and ignore the issues to the complex and you'll be fine.

    I fell in love with Casa De Marina at first sight. The leasing office has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, special shoutout to Shireen and Brandon for their support! I can’t wait to start living here.

    Luis is great! He always does an excellent job and figures out a way to fix things. The 5 star review is for Luis. I would like to take this opportunity to indicate my dissatisfaction with the Laundry facilities. By far the worse managed laundry room I have seen in my life and this is the case for many years (I've been here almost 10). So, any prospective renters beware as this issue will not be addressed and is getting worse.

    Luis fulfilled two of our requests today. Our constantly flushing toilet, and adding a hanger pole inside our laundry closet. He performed both work assignments quickly and accurately, and was very respectful. Definitely job well done!
