My partner and I enjoy living in this community and have stayed here for over a year now, but recent events with management (both old and new) have made it quite an unpleasant experience.
First, there was an incident where bookkeeping artifacts led to a $10k balance that we were not liable for. Rather than contacting us about this balance, management (Asset Management) decided to go directly to collections. We disputed and cleared the balance, but the issue took about a month to resolve and caused a ton of anxiety for my partner and I.
Second, we asked for a renewal and were given rates that were ridiculously overpriced: over $600/month more than market rate, which is currently $2800-2900 for a 2b2b in Livermore. A 3b3b at this apartment complex goes for less than our 2b2b... We've talked to both old and new management about getting a fair rate that reflects the current market price. We would know what a fair rate is since my partner and I have looked at over a dozen apartments in Livermore. Both old and new management took days to respond and ended up saying that pricing is determined by the owners. Neither management company even attempted to reach out to the owners to reason with them for a fair rate.
We really don't want to move, but management is making it a difficult choice to stay. At the very least, if they manage to bring our rent price down to something that reasonably reflects market price, I might consider giving additional stars. I leave it to them to earn these stars back.

The facility’s team took care of my refrigerator right away. They were great at explaining what might have been the cause.
Ageno makes you feel like a celebrity in Beverly Hills.
It's super exclusive with ultra modern design and architecture.
Rooms are enormous with high ceilings.
The gym is huge with tons of state of the art machines.
Every inch of the property is spotless and flawless.
They have a beautiful pool and jacuzzi.
All staff very professional friendly and accommodating..
They accepted my service animal with open arms and he loves to go walking at the beautiful Park. In the evening everybody is walking their dogs outside and it's just really fun to see my dog making friends.
Within an hour of my maintenance request the very professional maintenance person had it working perfectly. I asked what tool he used and he took the time to show me the allen wrench and explained how he fixed it.

I would give five stars because I am appreciative of the staff when it came to breaking my lease and doing the whole lease buyout due to reasons out of my control. The process was smooth for that. I’ve lived here for 5 years and 2 months and it’s been good.
But I have to dock two stars because it’s been 30 days and I unfortunately still haven’t gotten an itemized statement regarding deposit. I really don’t care about the deposit. I just want to know IF I owe any final charges. I do NOT want to end up in collections.
I will change it to five stars once that happens.
EDIT: I changed to four stars after having a good conversation with management. I will change it to 5 stars once i do receive the statement.

Unfortunately, my 24 months at Ageno Apartments were far from satisfactory, particularly concerning the level of hospitality/professionalism provided by the leasing staff. It’s very clear that the focus is less on ensuring a comfortable and welcoming stay, and more on the transactional aspects. I consistently felt like I was being treated as just a monthly deposit rather than a valued guest. This wasn’t always the case, either. It all started with the new staff that replaced the previous manager. Alina, who was originally the leasing manager when I moved in, was everything a company could ask for in an employee, that would be welcoming new and current tenants. She was easy to approach, professional, and helpful. However, the new leasing staff is a complete 180 from Alina. They are rude and confrontational and definitely only care about you if you are paying the bills.
A place where I once felt at ease and appreciated had me leaving with the impression that guest satisfaction was not a priority. I would think long and hard before giving Ageno Apartments my hard earned money. I definitely do not recommend this business.
I would strongly advise Ageno Apartments to re-evaluate their approach to guest relations and focus on fostering a more hospitable environment where every guest feels genuinely valued.
