Scheduled a viewing of the units, they decided it was appropriate to cancel last second, . As someone who cleared his day out to view their units, I don’t feel it is appropriate to cancel last second very unprofessional, no apology. They just call you and let you know. we are leaving early today, and make their problems your problem, unacceptable, I will not be renting with this mismanaged garbage company

I lived at Metropolis for two years, and my overall impression is genuinely mixed. Here are the things that stood out to me, both good and bad. What I liked: The leasing office is excellent — consistently responsive and on top of things. Whenever I had an issue or a problem, the staff handled it as quickly as possible. Maintenance was the same: prompt and fast. The leasing agents and office staff were professional and friendly throughout my time here, so on the service/people side, I was quite satisfied. The amenities are also solid. There's a pool, a jacuzzi, and a BBQ area. A few facilities had ongoing problems (the sauna, for example, was never properly fixed the entire time I lived here), but on the whole I was happy with what was available. What I didn't like: My biggest complaint by far is the build quality of the buildings. The floors feel very thin. I regularly got noise complaints from the unit below about footsteps — but we weren't throwing parties or running around, just living normally. We even switched to extra-cushioned slippers to try to help. The neighbor below would sometimes bang on the ceiling, and even though we weren't doing anything out of the ordinary, it gave us real anxiety. We ended up constantly worrying about being "too loud" just going about our daily lives at home, which made the place feel genuinely uncomfortable to live in. A couple of minor annoyances (more nitpicks than real problems): - The buildings are tall, which means the parking garage has a lot of levels. If your spot ends up on the 5th or 6th floor, expect to spend 5–10 minutes just driving up or down each time. If you're ever on a tight schedule, build in an extra 10 minutes to get out of the garage. - If you have a pet, be aware that the grassy areas tend to have a lot of uncollected dog waste, and the smell can get unpleasant. This may not be entirely on management — but I've lived in SoCal apartments for nearly 10 years, and this is the worst I've seen it at any community. One possible reason: the complimentary poop bag stations are often empty (sometimes for about a week each month). Picking up after your pet is obviously the owner's responsibility, but if people assume bags will be available and don't bring their own, then find the station empty, a lot of them just won't pick up. (That's only my guess.) Overall: Despite the issues, I was still fairly satisfied living here. If the things I mentioned above don't bother you too much, I'd highly recommend it.

The concierge service is awesome, and I have had a great experience with them every time I visited the apartment. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and welcoming. HOWEVER, my experience with the application team is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. (ESPECIALLY WITH RENEE) I submitted the application about a month ago, because I planned to move in around the beginning of June (which is now). Since then, I have been communicating with Renee. Throughout the process, she only responded my messages once a day, whether I contacted her in the morning, afternoon, or evening during the office hours. What pissed me off the most was, I DID NOT receive any responses from Renee for almost two weeks, which was a waste of time. I asked Renee to reply me ASAP because I have to contact my current landlord whether I should renewing my lease. Of course, I did not receive response from Renee at all. Until recently, since my move in date gets closer, Renee started putting pressure on me, such as calling me (but still, only respond to my messages once a day) I am so not satisfied with Renee’s services, and now I still HAVE NOT finished with the application yet. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED, plus they told me if I am not able to finish the application WITH CERTAIN HOURS, THEY WILL CANCEL MY APPLICATION. ITS NOT MY FAULT, I JUST COULD NOT CONTACT RENEE THE WHOLE TIME.

***SCAM SCAM SCAM *** in 42 years i never wrote an review. Thats the first and i think everybody should know it I am a business owner and member of the Community in irvine. I think its important to share this. Also trying to understand how the Google Review increased from 2.4 stars to 4 stars within 1 year. Thats basically impossible without professionell help. As a Business owner you know that - Anyways…. I would strongly advise anyone against moving here. Aside from the constant maintenance issues—things regularly breaking, the jacuzzi being out of service for days, elevators frequently not working—you will also be charged for everything immediately. They are quick to threaten collections and legal action; this happened just three days after we moved in. Now we are being asked to pay again, this time several thousand USD, without any evidence to justify the charges. The matter is now going to court, and we will not give in to this kind of unreasonable and baseless treatment. Before considering this place, go there yourself and speak to the residents of this questionable complex. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else. There are dozens of nicer apartments in Irvine where you won’t feel taken advantage of. And by the way, our move-in promotion wasn’t honored because our inquiry was submitted at 12:03 a.m., while the offer had supposedly ended at midnight—ridiculous.

Run run run! This place is just ridiculous! I’m paying over $3,000/month only for them to shut off the hot water without notice. They did it twice this week...once is maybe understandable but twice?! For the price they are charging, you would think that giving notice is a reasonable thing to do.
