  I’ve had a wonderful experience living in Sora. The amenities are outstanding and always well-maintained, making everyday life much more enjoyable. From the fitness center and common areas to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property, everything is thoughtfully managed and provides a comfortable living environment. What truly sets this community apart is the management team. They are incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely care about their residents. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, they responded quickly and went above and beyond to help. Their dedication to creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere does not go unnoticed. I highly recommend this apartment building to anyone looking for a place that combines great amenities with exceptional management. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in making this a great place to live.

  My son moved from Canada to a new job in L.A., and Houston was amazing, finding a way to get through all the red tape in relocating. What a hero! And Sora is a beautiful place, lovely amenities and a great location.😊

  DO NOT MOVE HERE. On 4/15/26, a tenant was shot and killed in the lobby. Yes, someone was shot in the building lobby and died. There was blood throughout the entrance area and lobby. I personally saw a large pool of blood both outside the lobby entrance and inside the building. After the incident, management sent tenants a vague, generic message with little information and never provided a meaningful follow-up about what happened or what safety measures would be taken. They stated that security would be provided, but that lasted only about two days. Since then, there has been no consistent security presence on the property. If you move here, also be prepared to sign an extremely lengthy lease (close to 100 pages) and expect extremely high electricity costs. The amenities are subpar: gym equipment is often broken, the pool is rarely cleaned, and the parking garage frequently smells like urine due to feral cats lingering around the property after being fed by residents. Don’t be misled by the overly positive reviews. In my experience, management, particularly Evelien and Jerry, have been intrusive and rude. It feels like the focus is on filling units, and once you move in, tenant concerns become far less important.

  I’ve lived here for 4 plus years and the amount of consideration and customer service I’ve received is refreshing. The staff are friendly and professional. Jerry is Consistent with his service always greets me with a smile and willingness to answer whatever question or concern I may have.. Evelien is A hands-on manager in the best way she’s open to suggestions and very helpful with concerns as well. The building is always clean and smell smells good. They also throw some amazing Resident events that seem to bring the community together. Sora is a great Building with good folks working and living here.

  I lived there with my wife right after they opened and the building was only 50% full. At first it was quiet. I was on the very top floor. However, every single day the maintenance was on the rooftop over my head walking and banging every day or every other day. Cars were constantly being broken into. Residents were having pool parties and on one occasion their guest were throwing rocks at my wife and I from the second floor as we were walking up to go inside our building. Some of the management had issues dealing with Black people. To this end, I only dealt with Alexis…the only black person on staff who knew how to talk to people and not at people. I would never move back there even if the rent was free. Don’t believe the hype from the other post. The pricing is wayyyyy too high for the rent for what this place offers. The management tries to feed the residents with snacks instead of offering them more amenities. The pool is only 3 feet deep…for adults…really? Don’t waste your time. Alexis was the only saving grace. B
