I toured it this morning. The front lobby and back doors were open, and being a block from Beach Blvd, and the homeless shelter, that shouldn't be the case. Next, residents do NOT have reserved parking. You have to compete for parking on Florida with the businesses and the apartment complexes. Seniors . competing for a parking spot. Just so cheap, poorly planned. And parking is extra once you get it, but she couldn't tell me how much. And she couldn't even show where the unit would be that is coming up, to "protect the privacy" of the current tenants. Really, this is just a big "pass" in my book.

M grandma lives here that's why I love it! It really is a nice place for seniors. If they like activities or shopping; they have a huge shopping center (5Points) across the street or they can take a ride in the shuttle to any place they choose! If they like to be left alone and do their own thing .... not a problem... their space is respected. The courtyards in the middle are spacious and beautifully kept and the grounds are always maintained. This is a classy place to live. Some rules apply but it’s not anything too strenuous to deal with. I take my children, the grandkids, to see their grandmama and we always go over to Trader Joe’s, across the street, a short walk, get some healthy yummy food, take it back to the courtyards, sit at the giant spacious tables and have a lovely lunch with our more than awesome elder! My grandma is shy, so it’s hard for her to meet people, but, she has met a few friends here and they are just as awesome! The maintenance guys come and help her whenever she encounters a problem she can’t fix herself. They are Johnny on the spot and so courteous... they are really professional and know what they are doing. Only thing... parking is pretty crowded so a lot of times parking on Florida Street is a better option. Don’t be afraid of expensive rent... this one is reasonably priced for the area and well worth it!

We lived for three months at that place. One day the toilet was plugged, so I called the office to inform of it.About minutes later someone came to know at the door. As soon as I opened, a man came in and rushed by me going towards the bathroom. I followed him and asked who was he. He told me I am the owner of the building. So after he saw the problem, he saw my husband sitting at the dining room, and he came and told him: What are you doing sitting there? do you live here? he came very close to my husband and my husband told him: Do not get too close to me, the man didn't listen and continued getting close so my husband pushed him back. After that. this man (I didn't know his name) went to the bathroom and started yelling. asking for towels to clean the bathroom, I told him that if he was going to take care of the problem, he should have brought all the equipment necessary. When finally the clean up was done, I learned that his name was Mark and that he is one of the owners . I complained to the office and the next day I received a letter saying that we had 3 (three) days to leave the apartment. I talked to several residents and they told me that they also had problems with this man, I feel that he abuses seniors that live at Five Points, so I do not. recommend this place to live.
