  We lived here a little over a year. We loved it due to location. The area is walkable with nearby shopping centers and a park. As far as the apartment complex, the leasing office is terrible at responding. They hardly ever answer the phone and take about 3-5 business days to call you back. Emails aren’t any better. You’ll typically have to send follow up emails in order to get a response and the response will still be delayed. By the time you send a follow up, you’ll have waited over a week for a response. The pool is freezing cold so if you’re touring and count that as a plus, redact that plus. The pool is so cold that you’ll never want to swim even in 90 degree weather. The pool is an ice bath. The garbage areas can get gross. People pile on recyclables and don’t break them down so the dumpsters are constantly overflowing. Maintenance does their job. The kids that live in the complex gather together. All you hear is cuss words. They walk around destroying plants in front of other people’s units. Multiple times we found dog poop in front of our unit. The leasing office wasn’t able to see who the culprit was due to a blind spot in the cameras. Otherwise, the complex is pretty quiet, feels safe and clean. The leasing office is regularly sending out weekly emails with reminders of rules and expectations. A good place to live if you’re low maintenance and just need a clean safe place to stay in a walkable area. We enjoyed our time here but the place definitely has its pros and cons as all places do.

  I have lived at the edge on the boulevard for 2 and half years, the complex is peaceful and quiet, the office staff are very friendly and on top of things, maintenance is very responsive when it comes to work orders and emergency calls

  I have lived in Northgate Plaza apartments for about 3 years & 4 months, I like this apartment and this is the best apartment I lived out of my years in the USA. When I moved from Los Angeles to Fremont and came to the leasing office and met Lou for the first time, she was very friendly & helped me in expediting the process and leasing the apartment as I was really in hurry for an apartment. Lou and Irene were always welcoming, courteous, friendly and their consistent professionalism & thoughtful consideration was making me or anyone stay here for a longer-term. The units are wonderful, with upgrades abounding. The building is well insulated which made to stays warm in winter and cool in summer. Every maintenance issue got resolved with an hour and also during the pandemic all requests were handled very carefully. The apartment is very close and walkable to multiple grocery stores, restaurants, schools, parks and has easy accessibility to the 880 freeway, Bus station, and 2 miles to BART. The management has taken multiple safety and security measures to keep the residents very protect, the community is also smoke-free. Many events take place throughout the year by the pool, it's really fun for the kids and as well as for parents. I would have stayed here forever if we weren’t relocating and was staying in the area. We will miss you Lou, Irene. Thank you for such a great experience. Move Out: The process was easy and trust me the maximum of my deposits were refunded.

  Very nice and well kept complex that seems to be pretty quiet but also has a lot of kids who seem to all be well behaved!!!
