  Extremely high utility bills. For July, I received a garbage bill for $105 and a water bill for $76, even though only two people were living in the apartment. When I went to the office for clarification, the manager said she didn't have any information and gave me an email address to contact. I wrote to them once last week and got no response. I followed up again a couple of days later—still no response. The office simply issues bills for goodness knows what, provides zero itemization, and ignores questions. I strongly advise against renting here.

  Great community with amazing schools around. The community is well maintained with lot of greenery. We found friends and good neighbors. We are glad we chose this community.

  The property is quite big and maintained reasonably well. Landscaping is impressive. The apartments are old and shows its age. They have very little storage space (the kitchen lacks a pantry). The appliances and fitments and basic and dated. Each unit comes with only a single garage/parking spot and finding a spot at the open parking lots is a huge challenge. The biggest con probably is the lack of air conditioning in the units. They have central heating but no cooling available. But otherwise the community is nice, the facilities are decent, the houses are comfortable. Townhomes come with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a balcony and the living room has a huge patio attached. All other types of unit come with a single bathroom.

  The complex is very pretty and quite comfortable feeling. It also feels like a very safe space. I would live here

  We have been living here in Ardenwood Forest Apartments since 2003. Since we moved in here we never had a good reason to lookout for another place to go to. The recreation facilities have served us perfectly - The Gym, The Tennis Courts, The Basket Ball Court, The Mini Park, The Club House and the expanse within the apartment complex have been great for us to take brisk walks. Maintenance folks are quick to respond to any maintenance issues. These folks are very well managed by the apartment staff. While most of the staff member have been great at resolving our issues and concerns or answering our question, many of our interactions have been with Lena Rose. She has been just Awesome!!! She is very prompt with responses, very empathetic, very pleasing to talk to and focused on serving our needs. Among other things, this apartment is located pretty close major IT companies like Google, Facebook (which are within about 5-6 miles) and close to grocery stores (Indian and Chinese within a mile or 2 and Mediterranean and Mexican within about 4 miles or so). All other major grocery stores and departmental stores are also located within 1 to 5 miles. Elementary schools are within 2-5 mins of drive time and one of them is walkable too. Guess I can't stop bragging about Ardenwood Apartments. What else can you expect, this perhaps is the place were we have stayed the longest (18 years). Our children have gone to the Forest Park Elementary School here and one of them has now graduated from college. Ardenwood has been an awesome HOME for us!!! Thank you all for making this place pretty close to a permanent home for us!
