Poor management, lack of professionalism, poor communication from property manager who is rude. Geese, rats, ants are uncontrolled and property manager seems to disregard any concerns brought to you. Forget the security deposit as they will find ways to keep it.

Shoutout to Andrew from the leasing office for being amazing throughout the entire process. He helped us from the initial application all the way through move-in and has continued to be incredibly helpful even after we moved in. Any time we had questions or needed help with something, he was responsive, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the residents and wants to make sure everything goes smoothly. Really appreciate all the support, Andrew. Thanks for making our move such a positive experience!

**UPDATE - RESPONSE TO BUSINESS OWNER** I emailed the leasing office twice after moving in, once about the $260 cleaning fee and another about the $360 that was deducted from my security deposit for two months of utilities. Both to which the answer I got was those are standard charges. To say the least I am disappointed I am only getting $178 of my $1,000 security deposit. ——————————————————————- I recently moved out of Harbor Cove Apartments after living there for just over a year. While the apartment itself was decent, my overall experience with the property management and living conditions was disappointing. The complex was frequently dirty, and many residents left their doors open, causing strong cooking odors to fill the hallways. Children regularly ran through the halls screaming, riding bikes, and roller skating at all hours of the day. In addition, one of my neighbors routinely allowed their large dog to roam the hallway off leash. Despite reporting this to the leasing office, no action was taken, and the issue continued throughout my entire lease term. Communication from the leasing office was also poor. On multiple occasions, our building experienced water heater issues that resulted in several days without hot water and extremely low water pressure. When I initially contacted the office, I was told the problem would be resolved by the end of the day. Instead, the issue lasted for three days, during which I had to shower with little more than a trickle of water. Follow-up emails requesting updates went unanswered. Another ongoing concern involved a resident in a neighboring building who regularly allowed two dogs to roam the property off leash. On several occasions, one of the dogs charged at my dogs and nearly attacked them. After I reported the incidents, management stated the matter would be addressed. Later, a leasing office employee acknowledged they were already aware of the resident and had received numerous complaints about the dogs. Despite this, the behavior continued throughout my time at the complex. My move-out experience was equally frustrating. I thoroughly cleaned the apartment and spent two full days ensuring it was returned in excellent condition—better than when I moved in. Despite this, I was informed that a $260 cleaning fee would be deducted from my security deposit. When I questioned the charge, the leasing office told me it was a standard cleaning fee and that it was listed in my lease agreement. After carefully reviewing my lease, I was unable to find any provision requiring a mandatory $260 cleaning fee. It was frustrating to be charged for cleaning after returning the unit in excellent condition and then be told the fee was included in the lease when I could not locate it anywhere in the agreement. I was also charged $200 for minor paint touch ups for holes where my tv was hung that I patched. Seems a little excessive. While the apartment itself was nice, the combination of poor management, lack of responsiveness, unresolved lease violations, safety concerns involving off-leash dogs, and unexpected charges made the experience not worth the cost. I would not recommend Harbor Cove Apartments to prospective renters.

Flooded balcony from the rain? I can handle that. Frequent thunderous noise every single day? Absolutely not. Yet, the leasing office hasn’t done a thing about either. From 5.54am
