I recent had to move, and though I ended up renting a house, but I got to use the facilites for a bit.
I was impressed with the property, the people, and the process. The facilities are great and I loved the salt water pool which is heated, even in winter, the hot tub which has great jets, the out door fire features, as well as the gym and club house.
The management is very proactive and really cares about running a clean quality complex and the tenants I met there were great.
Starting off not only is this complex poorly managed, staff unprofessional, they do not follow their own procedures/policies. In the beginning of the application process, everything seemed fine however, once my application was processed and reviewed, I was denied. I went to the leasing office with my mother to gain clarification on what may have gone wrong, or if I was simply not qualified. Prior that evening I called Lori the assistant manager so she claimed she would give me a call back and never did. The following morning I received a second denial email with an opportunity to speak with management regarding my application. Lori the assistant manager also would not provide my mother a guarantor link under the assumption she did not make “5x the rent.” Following this lack of communication we went to the office where lori doubled down accusing my me of “crafting” my ledger through “power point xl,” as well as the manger chelle bombarding us in the office, accusing my mother of threatening lawsuit and that “her lawyers can sit down with my mother’s lawyers.” Continuing this unprofessional belligerent exchange, Chelle raised her voice and was yelling the whole time claiming illegitimacies in my paystubs and that she deals with a lot of fraud in her "profession." Implicating that we had submitted false documents. Furthermore Chelle the “manager” stated that this situation would be escalated to even higher management within Asset Living to which this was not done at all. Furthermore during the whole interaction Chelle was accusatory and discriminatory, she threatened to have “her lawyers” sit down with ours, accused me of “crafting” and taking the time to make a ledger, as well as falsifying paystubs. To add my bank statements were attached for review and these documents were not included to cross verify my income and pay allocation. I ended up being able to acquire an apartment within folsom under the same management, which they specifically said I should apply outside of that management company. The hypocrisy, discrimination, and racism, is nothing new in Folsom, but sad to see in 2026. I was also suggested to apply for housing outside of dpi as if I would not qualify for complexes. You don’t follow strict criteria at all you alleged that I falsified documents and have illegitimacies in my paystubs. And doubled down by suggesting I don’t apply for fpi managed apartments.
Amazing Team! Chelle and her team are always on deck and ready if we need anything. Couldn't recommend more.
