I’m very disappointed with this place. The utility charges are outrageous. They won’t clearly explain how much you’ll actually pay, and the laundry fee alone is around $69 per month, even if you barely use it. (Sewer bill) There are also serious maintenance issues. The bug problem is out of control, the pool is rarely clean, and ALL equipment in the gym doesn’t work I pay $1,590 a month for a one bedroom apartment, but after utilities and additional fees, my total is almost $2,000. For that price, I expect the amenities to be maintained and everything to function properly, but that’s not the case I’ll be moving out soon, and unfortunately, I can’t recommend living here. There’s a constant turnover of residents, and after living here I understand why

I want to start by saying that the people who live here are generally good people, but there are a lot of issues I think potential renters should know about before moving in. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend living here. The leasing office gives tours in the afternoon, which doesn’t reflect what it’s really like at other times of the day. It can get very loud, with people frequently yelling and making noise. Some of the bigger issues include bugs, expensive utility costs, and broken amenities. You’re charged over $60 for sewer, and utilities can easily exceed $200 on top of your base rent. Most of the amenities don’t work the gym equipment is damaged, the sports courts are unusable, and the pool is rarely open. The grills are often out of propane, and residents aren’t allowed to bring their own. What goes with that you’re not allowed to have chills outside? They basically want this place to be child free and MD over $2000 for a two bedroom plus another additional 200 - 400. Utilities, which nothing works Security is another major concern. The gates don’t lock, so anyone can come and go. Mailboxes are frequently broken into, many people know the mailbox codes, and packages are often stolen. Property management has not been helpful in addressing these issues. Parking is also a problem. There are no available guest parking spaces, and residents are repeatedly told that more parking is “coming soon,” but nothing has changed in months. Overall, for the amount of rent and utility fees you’re paying, these conditions are unacceptable. I hope management addresses these issues, but until then, I would not recommend this apartment community.

I have been living at the magnolia terrace for 5 months now and this has been the worst experience of my life. If I could give this place -100 stars I would. I am going to give you and in depth explanation on why I truly hate this place and why you should never move here. First, there are roaches. Yes roaches. There have been critters crawling since the day I moved in. None of the reviews mentioned this and I talked to other residents and this is a multi unit problem. Second, they have a contract with the towing company J&T towing and they predatorily tow cars. My car has been towed twice already. ONE TIME IT WAS TOWED WHILE I WAS PARKED IN MY SPACE! They have towed countless other cars here for no reason. Third, the office management are lazy and liars quite frankly. Before moving I asked how does utilities work, the manager at the time replied” they are included in the rent” I thought this meant it was included in the $1600 I pay, no they charge separately for each utility and it is added to the bill which is an extra $200 a month! Every other apartment is transparent and tells you how much each utility will cost each month or how it is calculated. Shady complex. Fourth, there is no sense of security here. Drug addicts and shady characters come in here and use outlets. None of the gates are locked and shady people come and go as they please. No security most of the time and when we do have security they are working with the tow company to attack residents. Fifth, the laundry facilities here are dirty and most of the machines are broken. My money has been taken multiple times due to machine failure. There are 4 laundromats on site, each with about 4-6 washers and dryers. Out of those washers only 2-3 will work no exaggeration. Floors are always filthy and wet. I would never recommend living here. Very few good things about being here, other than the maintenance being helpful and attentive, I have nothing else to say nice about this hell hole. There are constantly people moving out and I see why. As soon as I can move I’m breaking my lease and moving out. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! DONT DO IT! I am writing the review I wish I would have seen before I moved here.
