  their garage door has been broken for over a month and left open and they just haven't bothered fixing it so $500 of my stuff off my motorcycle got stolen. They don't have any cameras and management obviously doesnt care

  Lived here for a year and a half and had the best time here! The gym here is phenomenal, has a squat rack, treadmill, a bunch of dumbells, bikes, and even a rowing machine. During my time here, everything outside the apartment remained relatively clean. Elizabeth and Rae the managers here have always been so kind to me whenever I saw them in the building. Also felt very safe in the unit I was in. If I wasn’t moving to a different state, I would have stayed here longer!

  I strongly advise anyone considering living here to look elsewhere. The property management here is extremely unresponsive, untransparent with fees, and engages in unfair practices. Here are the main issues I experienced: 1: Hidden Move-Out Charges & Zero Transparency: There is zero clear pricing or standard provided for move-out deductions. Without any prior notice, itemized explanation, or justification, they directly deducted $380, plus an additional $100 for "wall repainting." It feels like an arbitrary cash grab on move-out deposits. 2. Virtually Non-Existent Communication: Reaching management is impossible once you sign the lease. Emails are consistently ignored. If you call, you are always sent to voicemail promising a callback that never happens. They completely disregard tenant inquiries and concerns. I drove all the way from South Bay Area back to Berkeley to deal with the leasing ending process due to their non-reply email. 3. Unfair Parking Assignment & Coercive Policy: The regular parking space had a waitlist (unlike the stacker). When my turn finally came, management assigned me an EV parking spot without my consent and charged me an extra $25/month for a feature I did not need or request. When I asked to adjust or transfer the spot, I was told that if I refused, I would lose my spot entirely and be forced to restart the long waitlist. As a result, I was forced to pay an unnecessary $25 every single month for an entire year. The person who should be responsible is the property manager called William. Management shows zero respect for tenants and operates with complete disregard for transparency. Save yourself the headache and rent somewhere else.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this property has been terribly frustrating and disappointing. THE APARTMENT OFFICE IS INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. Emails often go unanswered for days or even weeks, and simple issues can take a month or longer to resolve. Everything is unclear. Every time I needed help, I had to go to the leasing office in person because calling or emailing rarely worked. Even then, I was often redirected to someone else without getting a real solution. The move-out process was especially disorganized. Management told us that move-out cleaning had to be scheduled, so we made an appointment. However, no one confirmed what time the cleaning staff would arrive, or whether our tenancy and move-out had officially been completed. THIS MESS DIRECTLY LED TO MY PERSONAL PROPERTY DISAPPEARING FROM INSIDE THE APARTMENT. When this happened, my lease was still active, even though I had already moved out most of my belongings. Even if the item was not taken by the staff, management didn’t lock my apartment before leaving, which created the circumstances under which my personal property went missing. I contacted management immediately after I found my stuff was missing. Unsurprisingly, just like anytime I had experienced during my tenancy, my request was simply ignored again. Given how this situation was handled, I do not believe this is an isolated incident and only happened to me. I cannot recommend living here to anyone who expects responsive management, clear communication, or respect for residents’ property.
