- A客家鹹豬肉Aug 9, 20263.0We purchased a new construction home from this builder, and while we appreciate that the warranty team responds to repair requests, the extreme frequency of mechanical and electrical failures points to serious gaps in construction quality control and trade management. The electrical, solar, and safety issues we have encountered include: Solar System Failure: The solar panel system took 7–8 separate service visits to become operational due to improper wiring and installation errors, leaving poorly finished, unsightly drywall repairs on our interior walls. HVAC & Control Wiring Inversion: The heating and air conditioning control wiring and sensors were wired backwards between upstairs and downstairs, causing the HVAC system to error out and shut down completely. Hardwired Alarm & Electrical Errors: A master-wired interconnected fire alarm system repeatedly triggered false alarms in the middle of the night due to signal wiring issues, and the dedicated washer outlet was entirely inoperable upon move-in. While the warranty team continues to send technicians out, buyers should not have to act as quality assurance managers for basic electrical and utility infrastructure. We expect corporate management to take these recurring electrical and solar defects seriously, complete all necessary cosmetic restorations, and provide appropriate goodwill consideration for these disruptions.
