I had a tour scheduled at The Meadows today at 10:00 AM. I arrived at 10:20 AM and was told they only allow a 15-minute grace period. I completely understand that I was late and accepted their policy, and they rescheduled my tour for next Friday. That said, I was disappointed with the overall customer service. This was an apartment tour, not a court appointment, and there were two leasing agents in the office who appeared to be available. While I understand having policies and schedules, a little flexibility and a more welcoming attitude toward a prospective resident would have gone a long way. What concerned me even more was the interaction regarding my dog. I was told that pets are not allowed on tours. I explained that he is a service dog and asked whether that made a difference. The response I received was simply that both leasing agents were allergic. There was no attempt to explain how they normally accommodate prospective residents with service animals or offer an alternative way to conduct the tour. I was genuinely interested in potentially leasing at The Meadows, but the leasing office is often the first impression of what it will be like to live at a property. Unfortunately, this experience left me questioning whether I even want to return for the rescheduled tour next Friday. A little more customer service, professionalism, and willingness to find reasonable solutions would have made a very different first impression.

Having recently moved out, I can not recommend this place to anyone. Firstly, the grounds are filthy. Theres dog poop everywhere, the sidewalks are stained with dog pee. The plants aren't well taken care of, theres rotting wood and trash stains everywhere. The "cleaning crew" throws a bunch of chemicals on the ground and scrubs it with water, but only in select areas, leaving the complex smelling like strong cleaning materials for days. The "flowing water" areas are brown, smell disgusting, or are constantly not filled with water, instead with dead leaves, mulch, etc. Maintenance doesn't do much. They are extremely lazy, and half repair anything they're supposed to "repair", typically driving around in a golf cart right by things that should be taken care of. They leave their trash and working materials everywhere. Good luck getting any work tasks done, they go ignored and unresolved for months at a time. I've had to submit duplicate work tasks 3 or 4 times with no response. They've left the water in one of the pools overflowing at least 6 or 7 times, just water running into the pool and the pool overflowing from the brim, nobody paying attention or noticing. There's dirt and paint all over the exterior furniture. The faux grass REEKS of dog pee. This place has the potential to be very nice, but it's clearly run with laziness and absent management. There is NEVER anyone available to talk to you when you need it. The phone just rings, or the doors are locked, clearly with the team inside talking to each other. The two ladies at the office are SO unfriendly, it makes you never want to bring anything to them. The leasing office washes their hands of you once they have that signed lease. I see reviews about how the staff treats the tenants poorly. THIS IS TRUE! The staff here could care less about you, are dismissive and rude. Let's talk Security as well. They advertise that they have 24/7 Security but unless you feel safe with Allied guards LAYING around on furniture watching movies with their phone on full volume, I wouldn't count on Security to help with anything. Like I said, this place has potential, but for the prices they charge I wouldn't recommend living here at all. They need a serious refresh, new staffing, deep cleaning, someone who actually cares about the property. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

⚠️ BEWARE: We Were Told to Prepare for Our Move, Then the Price Suddenly Changed I am extremely disappointed with my experience with The Meadows. My family and I were in the process of renting an apartment there. We were given a promotional price, and the secretary told us that everything was moving forward and that we could already start organizing our move. Trusting what we were told, I started organizing everything. I packed our belongings and began preparing for the move because I genuinely believed that everything had been agreed upon and that we were going to move into the apartment. I was extremely surprised and disappointed when we were later told that we were no longer eligible for the promotional price and that the rent would be higher. This was extremely frustrating because we had already started organizing our move based on the information provided by their staff. If the promotion was not going to be honored, this should have been clearly explained before telling us that we could start preparing for the move. This situation caused my family a lot of stress and completely disrupted our plans. We trusted what the staff told us, and unfortunately, we ended up in a very difficult situation after already organizing everything. I understand that promotions may have terms and conditions, but those terms should be clearly explained from the beginning. It is not fair to give someone a price, tell them they can start preparing for their move, and then change the price when they are ready to finalize the lease. I am extremely disappointed with the way this situation was handled. I hope management takes this seriously so that other families do not experience the same situation. Before renting here, I strongly recommend getting the promotional price and all terms in writing and confirming everything before making any moving arrangements.

Living at The Meadows has been one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve had. The biggest issues are the lack of communication, poor follow-through, unprofessionalism, and what often feels like a lack of concern for the people who live here. Resident Services and the management team has been particularly disappointing. While there are some staff members who have been helpful (the accountant Rafael is great), others have displayed rude, dismissive, and unprofessional attitudes when legitimate concerns are brought forward. Instead of feeling like residents are valued, it often feels like we’re treated as inconveniences. Communication is consistently lacking. There have been repeated instances of loud construction, drillings and other disruptive work with little or no advance notice. For those of us who work from home or simply expect reasonable notice before major construction begins, this is unacceptable. The overall upkeep of the property has declined. Amenities are frequently under repair, with caution tape becoming such a common sight that it feels like something is closed every other day. Yet despite the ongoing disruptions, rent continues to increase. Management also does not appear to take many resident concerns seriously. Ongoing noise complaints, dog waste left throughout the community, loose dogs, and other quality-of-life issues continue to affect residents. And the security has their phones off after hours so there is no one to report concerns to. These aren’t isolated concerns—they’re issues that have been discussed repeatedly. I’ve personally spoken with residents who have lived here for over a decade and have decided to move because they no longer feel heard or respected. It’s unfortunate because these are the kinds of long-term residents every community should want to keep. Instead, The Meadows is losing loyal residents due to poor communication, lack of accountability, and failure to follow through on concerns. Residents don’t expect perfection. We expect communication, professionalism, timely responses, and genuine care for the community we pay to live in. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience at The Meadows. If management invested as much effort into communicating with residents, maintaining the property, and addressing concerns as they do increasing rent, this could be a much better place to live. Until then, prospective residents should carefully consider whether this is the type of management they want to deal with after signing a lease. I’m writing this review using a private email because I genuinely fear retaliation for speaking honestly about my experience as a resident.

If I could give -5 stars, I would. They use illegal leaf blowers that are so loud, I would use them to make POW speak: every single morning for over an hour. The law says you can't use leaf blowers over 65dB. Theirs are over 100dB. Picture attached is from my bedroom. Do they care? Absolutely not. The parking garage door once automatically closed on my car and other cars (I have names). They claimed their security camera didn't work and told me I probably ran into the door (sideways? really?). Their solution: "Sue us!" They have a mail delivery room that's out of control. Many more packages than mail boxes available. They won't even put a note in the buildings to let tenants know. What do they say? "It's your problem". You have an emergency maintenance issue? They might come... maybe, maybe not... It might take two, three or even four weeks. The club house used to be open until 10pm, not it's closed at 6. Why? Just because... The bathrooms right next to the tennis courts have been closed for 10 years... Now you have to walk across the residence to go to the bathroom... Talking about the tennis courts: You are actually allowed to take your dog to poop on it! Yes! Plenty of dog poop all over, and again, they won't do anything about it... I could go on and on about the Meadows, but well, you get my point. I would look elsewhere. I'm also attaching the email I received from their top management pretty much telling me I was making things up... This is a horrible place. I strongly recommend you don't move here!
