The women who work here stole all of the belongings of a friend of mine, who lived there while she was moving out. She tried to file police reports, and they got a restraining order against her and tried to make it out like she was crazy. When I went to discuss it with them because my friend couldn’t she wasn’t allowed on the property all the women who work there were dressed and head to toe and my friends clothings and handbags everything. When I told them why I was there and made a comment about their clothing, they freaked out and called the cops and tried to get a restraining order against me as well. I’m not gonna say that this is why my friend killed herself, but it definitely played a part. She sold clothing for a living, and most of the stuff in the house was her work that she was trying to sell so when they took all of her stuff, she had no way to make money. All of her assets were in her belongings and she just couldn’t find the will to live. Am I saying that the people who worked there killed her? yes. Yes that is what I’m saying.

I would not recommend this apartment due to serious safety and security concerns. My locked $3,000 bike was stolen from the garage, and multiple times someone opened my car doors in the middle of the night and stole my belongings. The leasing office has done little to address these ongoing issues, which is very frustrating. I no longer feel safe or confident that residents’ property is being properly protected. Please consider these security problems before renting here.

I’ve been living here for about a year now, so I’ve dealt with both the previous management and the current one. Honestly, not much has improved. The maintenance guys are great when they actually show up, but the system is a mess. You have to ask multiple times for the same thing, and scheduling is completely disorganized. Under the current management, I waited more than a month for a repair because someone said they would come back and never did. The only way things get done here is if you go in person and keep pushing. Safety has become a serious issue. I don’t use the elevator, so I take the stairs to the garage every day, and I’ve seen some really concerning things. I’ve personally come across people sleeping there multiple times, and I have also witnessed people actively using drugs in the stairwell. I’ve reported this at least 4 times in person and nothing changes. I called security once and they told me “it’s not our working time.” At this point, I’ve realized I have to call non emergency police every time because management won’t do anything about it. The building is also just… dirty. The stairwells are constantly full of trash, and there have been multiple instances of human waste (urine and feces). Their “solution” seems to be just throwing Clorox everywhere, which is not a reasonable way to handle this kind of issue. I’ve also seen a rat on the first floor. People leave trash and even furniture outside instead of using the dumpster, which clearly isn’t being managed. The manager says it’s better now, but it really just depends on the day you pass by the dumpsters, which means it’s still happening frequently. There are also ongoing theft issues. Packages get stolen, and I’ve heard about items being taken from cars in the garage. I had two packages stolen in the same week and had to file a police report. Management basically said “this has been happening” and that they sent an email, but did nothing beyond that. There are cameras, but no real effort to even check them or understand what happened. The “security” is basically a decorative car parked outside. The only times I’ve actually seen them were to kick me out of the gym right on time, and once when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and they had no idea what was going on. Speaking of that, the fire alarm goes off all the time, including late at night. At this point, it’s honestly concerning because if there’s ever a real emergency, people might not even take it seriously. I wouldn’t be surprised if something serious happens here. Now about the current manager… this was probably the most frustrating part. I went to talk to her about these issues (which I had already discussed with other employees before, none of whom acted like this “new manager,” as she introduced herself), and she was literally acting like a teenager, rolling her eyes while I was speaking about serious safety concerns. She mentioned having years of experience managing buildings, but based on how things are being handled, that’s really hard to believe. A lot of the problems get blamed on the previous management, but it’s been months now and things are honestly worse. I was told they invested in new cameras and that everything would be ready around April or May. It’s already May and there’s no sign of anything changing. There are already cameras in the area where my package was stolen, but she came up with multiple excuses not to even check them, so it’s hard to understand the point of investing in more cameras. Now she says they cannot even provide a timeline, even though she previously mentioned they needed about 60 days. At one point, I was told that residents could “move to a safer side of the building or look for another place to live.” That might be true, but it doesn’t excuse the lack of basic management, safety, and respect. Overall, this place has been extremely frustrating to live in. I LOVE my apartment, but that’s about it. There is a clear lack of organization, accountability, and real action. I would definitely think twice before moving here.

What can I say about Caitlyn , she was amazing! Upon moving in she’s always pleasant and greets you with a smile very attentive to your needs . I moved here because I love the the look , and the pool area stood out, the grounds could use a little more care they are working on it however it needs more care the smell of urine and poop is terrible!! And the garbage is an issue it seems tenants need to be more attentive and respectful when it comes to their Dogs as well. I have one and I would never not pick up her poop or let her urinate on the cement . Also nieghbors who live on the top floors need to be respectful. I have a annoying neighbor who has a sound bar in a Apt. Property Manager Michelle is doing her best after a respectful conversation to rectify the issues and My complaints on this Guy who lies about it . insane . Pablo the assistant manager was helpful as well . George Maintenance is Great!! Overall things need to be better!! I dont doubt it will be as they are working on it . Update…….. I have since moved to a different apartment Pablo the assistant Manager was Excellent with this Process after dealing with a issue of extreme noise and stress with a previous neighbor I have finally got settled in my new place , I am much happier and although I didnt see eye to eye with community Manager Michelle she did make sure the process was taken care of after proper documentation etc of the situation I was dealing with . Darla the leasing agent is also Amazing!! Its good to have her back in the office she has such an amazing personality even if your day is bad she makes you smile Thank you Darla she will love on your Pets as well. Finally I can say im Happy, and feeling like there is some home here with all of the new changes . Thank You Renaissance Staff
