  PULTE Left a Ready Buyer in Limbo—A Month Later, Still No Response I signed a purchase agreement with Pulte in good faith, paid a $5,000 deposit, worked through the mortgage process, and liquidated all my funds in investments to prepare for closing. My lender had issued a Conditional Loan Approval. I was committed to buying the home and had taken substantial steps to be ready. Then Pulte issued a Financing Deficiency Notice and set a closing deadline. At the same time, the sales side deactivated the contract, creating problems for my lender and disrupting the financing process. I was left trying to resolve issues across departments while facing serious financial disruption from a transaction I had worked hard to complete. I also received an insurance-related package for the property even though the purchase did not go forward, adding to the confusion. The transaction’s failure is not my only concern. What stands out is the lack of coordination and communication during a major financial commitment. Buyers should be able to expect clear, consistent information from the builder’s sales, financing, and closing teams—not conflicting signals while deadlines approach. I contacted Pulte to give the company an opportunity to review what happened and respond. **A month has passed, and I have received no reply.** That silence has only deepened my concern about the company’s willingness to take responsibility when a customer raises a serious issue. If you are considering buying from Pulte, Ideally do NOT and for whatever reasons if you do - document every conversation, get important information in writing, track deadlines closely, and confirm that the people handling your contract and financing are working from the same information. Do NOT assume the company’s departments are coordinated. I was prepared to close and committed significant resources to the purchase. The way this situation was handled—and Pulte’s month-long lack of response—has seriously damaged my confidence in the company. Based on my experience, I urge prospective buyers to proceed with CAUTION.

  Horrible customer service regarding any warranty service call, I have an issue with the desert landscape in my front yard and they refuse to address the issue, they basically told me to kick rocks buddy! I am convinced that it is an irrigation issue but they state that I must have spilled something on my rocks to cause the discoloration. Typical Pulte Homes reputation, they act all nice to take your money and than tell you to scram when you complain.
