I am extremely angry. I have lived here for many years, but ever since the administration changed, things have been horrible. First of all, Ms. Coni Gallegos is high-handed and never has a solution for anyone; for everything, she simply says there is an app that you have to use to handle things online. Secondly, the new administrator is inaccessible; you ask him something, and he gives the same canned response. Furthermore, he is racist and says the exact same thing as the other person—that you should just go use the app. This never happened when Jaritza was here; she was friendly and efficient, always attending to people or providing us with a satisfactory answer. The building used to be impeccable, but with this gentleman—who acts as if he’s doing you a favor just by existing—everything is always dirty. The parking lot smells like dog feces, the elevators reek of dog urine, the trash is all piled up, and the lounge areas are filthy. To top it all off, the elevator broke down, and they didn't even put up a notice stating it wasn't working. You go to the office to report it, and Ms. Coni Gallegos says, "Oh, I didn't know; I'll check it right now." Good grief—it had been out of order for two days without a single warning sign! As if that weren't enough, you can't even use the restrooms in the lounge areas because they are kept locked. And now, if you want to use a lounge area, you have to make a reservation; any gathering of three or more people is considered a "party," requiring you to reserve the space and pay a non-refundable fee of $200. On top of that, you make the reservation, only to find the area is dirty, and you have to clean it yourself before you can use it. Oh, but they certainly collect the fee—without guaranteeing a clean space for your party! That never happened before. I am deeply disillusioned, and it’s a real shame, because I used to highly recommend this place. Many of the people I encouraged to rent here have already moved out, and others are on the verge of leaving—and this new administration hasn't even been in charge for very long. It is truly sad, especially since the property itself is so beautiful; what a pity that poor decisions have been made. Finally, it is understood that a late fee is charged for overdue payments. However, it now turns out that they charge the standard late fee *plus* an extra "storage" fee—something they never gave notice about and which is not stipulated in the lease agreement. They should have sent out a message so that we would be informed. I urge the owner to review the management of their property. I hope the administrator starts properly managing the apartments, because the recent changes have been terrible. There is currently only one cleaning lady and one maintenance worker; that is why the place is so dirty—it’s nothing like it used to be. Back when Ms. Jaritza was here, she knew how to run a functional property, and residents felt much more at ease. Now, the office is closed more often than it is open, making it impossible to even stop by and ask questions regarding one's unit.
