I wish I could give it more stars because after all they are very nice apartments as a whole. However, living here only a month and a half has already brought way too many issues for a “luxury complex.” For starters I believe all the reviews saying how staff is nice are not very accurate as they offer a gift card for leaving a review when you tour the apartments. So the people leaving reviews might not be actually experiencing the apartment at all. I do believe Prevail is really helpful and tries to help you as he can, however, manager Kim Quijada seems defensive when you bring up an issue, and does not work with you as a tenant very well. On top of that, it is really hard to get a hold of them unless you personally walk into the office. They will SOMETIMES give you a call back but I have yet to receive a reply to my emails. In terms of apartment condition, I could tell the apartments were made or renovated without the proper inspection before offering the keys. One of the key fobs did not work for about a week as they did not have extras to offer us, the parking gate remote also stopped working within the week, limiting our access to the building while moving in. The door to one of our rooms did not seal properly. Even as you “locked it” you were able to easily push the door and it would open right up. The other bedroom had the lock outside the room! The lights are another major issue. We have controls that will randomly turn on and off by itself and they have not been able to properly fix it in the month and a half living there. Our remotes basically have access to different ceiling fans in our unit as well as neighboring units. And lastly the shower door does not properly contain the water while being used. You have to put a towel outside to soak up the water that is sneaking out. They cancelled our request because it “met ADA standards”. However, I don’t know how water spills are ADA compliant when they are a mold and slip hazard. I have tried to be patient in giving them time when I have brought these issues with maintenance and management several times, however, they don’t seem to work with the same urgency as it has been already a month and a half of these issues.
