  Special praise for the maintenance staff. They're timely and extremely helpful. The complex itself is well-maintained, safe, and quiet, and the apartments include good stuff (A/C, garages, solid internet) we didn't have at our last Carlsbad apartment.

  I applied for unit and the experience has been extremely disappointing. After submitting my application and paying a deposit, I was denied without being given any specific numbers or explanation of how my income was calculated. When I reached out for clarification, I received no response. On top of that, I have yet to receive my deposit refund, which I have had to follow up on myself with no reply. The lack of communication and transparency throughout this entire process has been unacceptable. I had to keep chasing them down for basic answers that any applicant deserves. I would caution anyone considering applying here to document everything and be prepared to fight for basic accountability They will most likely reply to this post and say to contact them but they won’t solve the issue. Update: still have not gotten my deposit.

  Montecito has been a great place to live (over 3 years) and the amenities are great. I have had a wonderful experience, especially due to Mirella (Sr. Assistant Community Manager). She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I have needed assistance.

  Living in Montecito Carlsbad has been a pleasure. All of the office staff are just terrific, personable, and very helpful. Many thanks to Ingrid, Mirella, Destiny, Heather, and Ryan for making me feel so at home. Hugs. The upkeep on the apartments is first class. Maintenance is there when you need them. Hardly ever need them cuz everything works. As far as amenities go, the pool area is elegant and comfortable. Love the Cabanas, the saltwater pool and jacuzzi, and the entertainment lounges are superb. The gym is up to date and open 24 hours. Being able to work out at any time is good for the mind and the body.
