My fiancé and I have mostly loved living here but I don’t think I would recommend anymore due to recent changes.
Pros: Office managers (Jay and David) are responsive. Maintenance (we mostly see Luis) are the best: they are organized, helpful and fast. It’s pretty quiet here and everyone is very friendly.
Cons: We have had issues with our apartment since very early on. We back up to a parking lot of an office building where the lights are left on all night sometimes. I reached out to the office many times about people jumping over the walls (plus I sent Ring videos) and nothing was done about it. The wall is fairly short and we have seen kids and adults jumping over the wall at all hours of day and night. There have been items left in our patio and outside our bedroom window (mostly trash) and I am aware that these are things that Allure doesn’t have complete control over but they could do something and have chosen not to (put a door/walking path by the wall, raise the wall, etc). This does factor into the quality of living here.
Bigger cons: Recently new owners took over and they have turned the complex into a construction zone. They are taking out garages and putting new apartments in their place. My garage is included in my lease but they called my partner to say they are kicking me out in the next month. That doesn’t seem right to me. They also never reached out to me directly even though I am the one who uses the garage.
When we moved in, the carpets were very dirty, and the bathroom walls appeared to have pet hair stuck to them, as if previous tenants had cats and the walls were simply painted over without being properly cleaned.
Another concern is the parking. Renting a garage costs an additional $100 per month on top of rent. The property recently added many reserved parking spaces, yet most of them sit empty, and different vehicles seem to be parked in them every day.
Unfortunately, many of these reserved spaces are located near our apartment, leaving very few available spots nearby.
I understand that the underground parking spaces are reserved for the apartments directly above them, which makes sense.
However, there are very few other parking options available, and the open spaces that we can use are often far or no where else from our apartment.

I wanted to give this place an outstanding review. I was so grateful for the generous support that the staff gave me during a lockout on my vehicle. They invited me in and offered me coffee while I waited for triple A to arrive. ( Weather was very cold and raining at the time). The place was immaculate, they made me feel at home and boy did it look like a home environment. I would highly recommend anybody to come by and take a tour of their property. Thanks for all the help staff.

I’ve had a great experience living at Allure Apartments in Camarillo. The place is clean, well kept, and just feels comfortable and peaceful overall. Military, pet, and family friendly. These are a 5 star for me. Best in town. Talk to Jay if you are interested in living at these apartments. It really makes a difference when management genuinely cares, and Jay is a rockstar! I’d definitely recommend living here.
Allure at Camarillo is quite simply the best apartment complex in which I have ever lived. The vibe is chill yet luxurious, which is quite a change from other apartments in the area. It's tucked away in a cul-de-sac and surrounded by trees and gorgeous landscaping. Amenities are outstanding - there's a huge pool and jacuzzi, along with a well-appointed gym. This place even has a car wash bay! The management and maintenance team is superb - major props to Jay, David and Luis, who always address any issues promptly. I couldn't love it here more!
