There's mold, broken appliances, cheap repair work, loud neighbors, rude office staff, dirty pools, trash piled up around the dumpsters, abandoned cars. For the price they're asking, I'd expect better. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

I have lived here for six years, and during that time all of my requests and work orders have been fulfilled.
I’ve also read a few reviews from past tenants, and it’s surprising to see personal information being shared. Don’t base your opinion solely on reviews. Come see the property for yourself and meet the girls in the office — they are very welcoming and kind.
Within the first week of moving in, my unit experienced a severe water leak in the bathroom. Despite repeated requests, management failed to fully repair the damage for over 10 weeks (from late November to mid-February). The damage to the vanity and surrounding structure was visually evident during this time.
Later Management added me to a separate lease without my consent or signature. This unauthorized lease action was later used to improperly list me in a legal proceeding related to the other party's dispute.
Upon moving out, management admitted the unauthorized lease action was an "admin error"
Management's actions directly violated my right to a safe living environment and created extreme administrative stress. Document every interaction.

⚠️ Cautionary Review: Document Everything and Be Prepared for Maintenance Issues ⚠️
I recently (August 2025) concluded my tenancy at Medici Apartment Homes and feel obligated to share my experience regarding their maintenance and deposit handling practices. Prospective tenants should be aware of the following:
1. Serious Maintenance Negligence & Concealment
Undisclosed/Unrepaired Water Leaks: I experienced significant issues with water intrusion and maintenance response. Despite numerous, documented reports (via email and video), a known leak associated with visible mold was initially concealed with plaster and paint rather than properly remediated. The necessary repairs were only initiated after a subsequent failure.
Safety Hazard Ignored: Another active water leak was detected by an outside company near an electrical outlet, presenting a serious potential safety hazard. Despite this professional report, the complex failed to repair or mitigate the hazard.
My strong advice to anyone considering this complex: For your own protection and safety, insist on having all maintenance requests and follow-ups communicated and confirmed exclusively in writing (email). Maintain a detailed personal record of dates, communications, and photos/videos.
2. Issues with Billing and Move-Out Deposit
My experience with the final billing was confusing and highly problematic:
Privacy Breach: The initial move-out statement I received contained another tenant's personal information, violating their privacy.
Inaccurate Charges: After moving out, I was charged over $9,000 for various fees, including amounts previously dismissed in a prior written agreement. This Agreement explicitly confirmed the amount owed was zero dollars, but the charges was still applied.
Inaccurate Property Damage Claims: The charges included replacing all plank flooring, despite my unit having only carpet and minor stick-and-peel in wet areas—some of which was documented as damaged before my tenancy.
Resolution: After a protracted battle involving corporate management, the management team claimed they were unaware of the prior written agreement that established the zero balance.
Note: Due to the complexity of the maintenance and billing disputes, management chose to enter into a binding written agreement which resulted in a finding that I owed zero dollars. Prospective tenants should be prepared to fight all charges and possess clear documentations
3. Alleged Retaliation
I must also note a concerning event: After the Unlawful Detainer case was filed against me, my son—who lived in a completely separate unit—was subsequently and unexpectedly added to my legal case. This raises serious questions about the complex's internal management and handling of disputes.
Final Recommendation: Proceed with extreme caution. While the location may be appealing, be prepared for potential maintenance negligence, a lack of transparency, and a complicated move-out process. Document every single interaction and repair request via email.

Very happy with this apartment complex so far. I moved in 3 months ago and haven't had any major issues. When an apartment needs a little fixing, you can put the problem online through the resident portal and the maintenance guy comes out within a day or two to check it out. If he can't fix it immediately, he will give you a time frame when it will be fixed. The property itself is very well-maintained, the grass is always green and manicured. I was nervous about other reviews talking about the weed smell coming through the vents, but I haven't had any weird smells coming through. Overall, it's one of the best complexes I've lived in and seems like it is managed well.
