I have lived here for over 7 years, and I have found it to be a safe, friendly place to live. The previous owners were good, and the newer owners are okay. I've read some of the negative reviews, but I don't agree with most of them. As far as sanitary conditions, let's be fair, that's up to the tenant. If you don't keep your apartment clean whose fault is that? I've only had one pest control issue and the Office took care of it right away. No problems for over a year and that was due to a lousy short-term tenant. One thing about Aventura is that there are a lot of fees above the advertised rental rate. However, when you add them up the total rental is competitive for the area. There is a bit of a premium, but the complex has two pools, modern well-maintained laundry room, nice landscaping with beautiful trees (hard to find in city of Tucson), air conditioning and its pet friendly with a small dog park to let them play. It's near the I-10 and schools with a decent police presence. However, there is a pet fee, a mandatory insurance fee that protects the owners from you not your stuff, a small boondoggle that costs $15.00 a month to help rent payers with credit reporting (you may have to sign this at first but be smart and decline it online right away (it's a rip off credit agencies already know if you are paying your rent on time), there is a parking charge for covered parking and a new charge for general parking which has created some bad will that's not worth the revenue to the owners. There is a fee for a package locker. Which is fair since we all receive so many packages these days. So, over the advertised rate you are looking at about $100 or so in fees. With that in mind, Aventura is really a nice place to live. The office is responsive generally. Maintenance really drives the living conditions at Aventura. The maintenance department is excellent. We all know things sometimes break and maintenance at Aventura is on top of it. Milo in maintenance is the best. As an older tenant Milo has gone above and beyond to help me. Over seven years, I have never had a safety issue, or a vandalism issue, my neighbors are friendly working people who have to get up in the morning so there are no rowdy students or chaos. Aventura is peaceful and quiet with a good vibe. Kids are safe here. That's all I've got to say. Moving to Aventura is not a mistake. They also offer a convenient payment plan that allows you to split rent payments each month if you so desire.

I’ve been a happy 5 year resident at Aventura. Thank you
DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I moved out last year and i have yet to see my deposit. in addition to that i forgot to transfer the TEP service right away. They made me pay TEP for it, even though i didn’t live there anymore. then a few months later sent me 1 email saying i owe the apartment money, that i didn’t pay all of my last bill (rent/water). WHICH I DID on time. then they decided to send it to collections because i didn’t pay them, from the ONE EMAIL they sent me. also don’t understand why they couldn’t just use the large deposit they have yet to send me to go towards that random $140 they’re saying i owe them? the apartment isn’t even that nice. the AC sucked and was hot as hell all the time, the front door wouldn't lock correctly. i would never live here again or even suggest it to someone i hated. please save yourself time, money and energy and find somewhere else to live.

This was literally the worst place I’ve ever lived. Do not waste your money to deal with never ending management battles, unanswered maintenance requests and phone calls, and unsanitary living conditions. Even with help from pest control the roaches wouldn’t go away and communal areas are NEVER clean. I wouldn’t recommend moving in here to my worst enemy
Worst place I have ever lived harass you about money but then refused to fix anything and don’t answer your calls and then not to mention they’ll pin stuff on you when you leave the apartments and when you try to pay off, whatever you owe, they decide not to answer the phone ever and lock your account so you can’t pay you so then they can send you to collections.
