I don’t write reviews often, but after living at this property for 6 years, I felt it was only right to leave one. When I first moved in back in 2020, the property was under a different name and management before becoming what is now known as Alterra Apartments.
Overall, I really didn’t have many complaints during my stay. The staff, especially Ambar and Isaiah, were always straightforward and helpful, and maintenance was decent as well.
That said, the property itself is older. I lived on the second floor, and the floors were very creaky. I’m sure my downstairs neighbor could hear me walking around, which honestly made me feel bad at times. I definitely wouldn’t want to be in a downstairs unit. In my opinion, the units could use a major facelift and some updates throughout.
I also dealt with roaches during my time there, which was definitely frustrating and worth mentioning.
Still, this place was a good starting point for me. If you’re on a budget or need a fresh start, it’s not a bad option. Looking back, I probably should’ve moved sooner, but overall my experience wasn’t entirely negative.
Pros: affordability, great staff
Cons: shared washer and dryer, outdated units, creaky floors throughout, roaches
