Usually don’t post reviews but this was a terrible move-out experience. It is impossible to get ahold of a real person when you call. I was charged for damage I did not commit, but they claimed there was no move-in inspection (a lie). Kane, the building manager, was condescending and rude, constantly shifting responsibility and directing me somewhere else, rather than actually solving the problem.

I’ve been living at Flare since a year and I have enjoyed living here, ever since. I renewed for 26-27 and I think it’s the best housing decision I’ve taken. They’ve also matched me with good roommates which I think is the most important thing!! Thank you, Flare!!’

paying 1.1k a month for the elevators to work sometimes… right. the whole paying for “premium view” thing is a scam, I see less of the pool than someone from the 4th floor and have no balcony (which was the only thing i requested). They don’t let you have access to your maintenance closet, yet it’s a part of your own house?? Says it’s for safety reasons, i’ve never been denied entrance to a room in my own house. Again, 1.1k… Parking is outrageous and straight scamming everyone. it’s like what 150 A MONTH??? Don’t even get me started on the finger prints. You can’t add someone’s fingerprint for a fee but you can sure as hell pay 150 a month for someone to park there, make it make sense. The giveaways half of the time are mad dumb, went down for a “bag full of goodies” and it was just an empty bag. Sure, now i have a new bag! The roommate pairing was quite awful as well, I know they can’t control the mental state of my roommate but I can promise you, we weren’t compatible in any way and anyone could’ve seen that. Thanks for that, I am not from here so moving in with strangers that I don’t get along with is awesome. The state of my apartment was nasty when I moved in. The furniture is disgustingly uncomfortable and there’s no option to store your bed or whatever so you can bring your own. I’ve lived in furnished apartments before and at least that was an option. They also began a new rule where they return packages to the sender if they’re not picked up within two days. Not awesome! if you want to live in a place that prompts you to say “god I cant wait to get out of here” every day, then this is the complex for you! You guys are the most predatory complex I’ve ever encountered.
