I lived here for a whole year and I definitely recommend this place for students. The amenities are great, maintenance is prompt, they don't charge you for no reason if you've taken care of your apartment unit, and if you are lucky, you'll get an apartment with an incredible view!
I just wish they'd fixed the coffee machine while I was there...
DO NOT LIVE HERE — When I first moved into Park Place/Flare, I was excited to live here. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into disappointment due to a number of maintenance and communication issues throughout my stay.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning. It was not working when I moved in and took months to repair, despite multiple maintenance requests. I often received no response from staff beyond automated lease-renewal messages and eventually had to go into the leasing office in person to get updates. I was told the repair was being delayed while they waited for the sale of the apartment to close. Portable AC units were provided, but they only cooled individual bedrooms rather than the apartment as a whole. I also had multiple friends staying here whose ACs experienced similar issues, which raises concerns about the property’s overall maintenance.
The gym, while a nice amenity for the area, was also poorly maintained. The leg press was broken for my entire stay, the lat pulldown was missing part of its rubber grip, and one of the pulleys was broken. The gym was also frequently kept in the high 70s during the spring and summer, making it uncomfortable to use.
The lack of communication was ultimately the most frustrating part of my experience. I reached out to staff multiple times regarding both the AC and move-out process and often received little or no response. Having to repeatedly follow up or visit the leasing office in person simply to receive basic updates was disappointing.
Overall, I would not recommend living at Park Place/Flare. While the property has potential, the combination of prolonged maintenance issues, poorly maintained amenities, and inconsistent communication made my experience significantly worse than it should have been.
It is next to impossible to reach any staff for the building. The multitude of issues and lack of ability to connect with any member of the staff is beyond frustrating. I signed early after being given the choice of a certain layout in the building. Apon move in it was an entirely different unit and I have yet to hear back from any department regarding this issue among many others. You can’t leave voicemails, the time it takes for emails to be replied to is far to lengthy. Every 5 star review on here was from a college student persuaded with some form of compensation in return.

The new management has changed this apartment for the worst.
Firstly, it is insanely cruel to force one custodian to clean two buildings that each have five floors. One person should not be doing all that work, and if they are, they should be compensated handsomely. It is a bad look and a result of greed from management. Secondly, the trash room was consistently dirty, which was not the fault of the overworked custodian, but a lack of policy enforcement from management. Not once did I see any action taken to prevent this lack of decorum and disrespect to commonly shared spaces.
Thirdly, the construction that occurred during the last two months of the lease was unacceptable and not only hindered residents coming and going’s, but created an uncomfortable environment where contractors were in and out of personal spaces. The fact there was no reimbursement or compensation for this inconvenience is unprofessional and borderline negligent. After said construction was finished, the floors continued to be grotesquely dirty, leading me to believe that put a bandaid on the actual issues, rather than fix them.
Fourthly, the lack of monitoring of the guest parking area led to residents consistently parking in spaces meant for guests, which led to no availability for visitors and an excess amount of towings. There should be someone that monitors the reoccurring cars that park there, as they are unfairly circumventing the system at the expense of other residents.
Additionally, the final statement i received included charges from a pet that was not mine, that i called multiple times throughout my lease to affirm my roommates ownership of the pet. Please get it together.

Im using a different account so they dont make my life hell. Literally the most worst possible management. They dont let you break the lease at all. Imagine just wanting to eat money from college students. They will all nice and so welcoming until u sign the lease and then boom 0 consideration. We needed wifi issues fixed on Friday evening and they were closing in about 45-30 mins plenty of time to help me and my roommates out but no, “we are closing soon so we will help you on monday” do not sign unless u want a management that is not gonna help you over the weekend. The boss was the best one out of all of them.
