We have been members of the Four Seasons Residence Club for about 20 years now. It's such a lovely, serene location that is the epitome of elegance. The way they have built this resort looks like they truly took care to respect the landscape and build around it. Nightime lighting is magical. Did I mention the landscaping? It is breathtakingly beautiful. The serivce is top-notch, both here and at the hotel, and always accommodating.
The Residents can take advantage of the hotel's services, such as gym, pools and restaurants, however, the hotel guests cannot take advantage of the Residence Club gym, pools or restaurant.
There is a decently equipped gym w/locker rooms, including amenities like shampoo, body wash, shower caps, razors, etc., showers, and a steam room. There are three pools, including a "quiet" pool, a large pool with varying depths and a kids pool, that (I believe?) is only 2 or 3 feet deep, max. Chaise lounges are abundant, complete with set-up service.
There is also a Residence Club restaurant, which is nice, but has limited hours. You're probably better off going to the hotel restaurants, which they will happily take you to, via golf carts.
Overall, we have been very happy with our experience and look forward to spending a week out here each year. You can request an area to stay, but the casita locations are not guaranteed. That said, all the villas are beautiful. Each of them is nearly 2,000 sq. ft., with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a stackable washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas, 2 balconies, 2 fireplaces. Housekeeping is available, along with room service.
There are options to put your week into Interval International to swap out and go somewhere else, or even bank your week (which we did during covid in 2020), but we always enjoy coming back to the quiet beauty of the desert.
I can't imagine you wouldn't be pleased.
