Closed on our first ever beautiful forever home a week ago! Such a great build! Cody was fantastic and made us feel comfortable and helped make a lot of the process easy! Lorenzo is fabulous! From walk through to even after, he makes sure EVERYTHING on your walk through list is done to your liking and listens to concerns. He is on top of the HVAC company who is trying to schedule too far out, but Lorenzo has made sure to do absolutely everything in his power to resolve. Thank you for a truly unforgettable experience and I would recommend this team to anyone looking to buy!

I had a wonderful experience with Centex Home Builders. From start to finish, the entire team treated me with professionalism, kindness, and care. They made the process smooth, stress-free, and always kept me informed along the way. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and I truly felt valued as a customer. I have no complaints at all—just gratitude for how great they made the experience. Highly recommend Centex Home Builders! Cody at the sales office was the best I've every had to deal with, and Lorenzo was absolutely the best, it waqs like talking to a old friend.

We were so excited when we bought our home a few months ago. We were ecstatic to have a brand new home that had warranties, and we didn't have to worry about much for a little while at least.
We moved in almost 2 months after we purchased the home, as we had to wait to paint, install fans, seal the grout, and granite. We didn't find out till after closing that the walls were chalky and easily stained if not painted over, also the grout between tiles are not sealed, as well as the granite counter tops. Which we got over pretty quickly, but still had to put money into a brand new home.
As I was painting the bathroom, I noticed at a certain angle the toilet bowl is cracked. I called pulte/centex and they said to send pictures. I did. 2 weeks later still no word back, so I called again and they said they would send someone out. I waited the whole day, that was scheduled and nobody showed. I called again, and they said, "well that's not covered because you didn't find it in the walk through before you closed. They said they would reach out to Corey and see if that's something that could be warrantied, and they would let me know, but I never heard back again.
Then my first shower in our new master bathroom I noticed a 2-3 inch crack in the shower. From outside the shower you can't see it, but standing inside the shower you can. I emailed them pictures and videos, showing as you're outside the shower you cannot see it, but once you get in the shower you can see the crack. Waited a week no response. So I called, but again they said that since it wasn't discovered during the walk through they will not cover it.
I have a little one who was crawling and started screaming, I looked at his hands, and they had little cuts on them. I felt on the floor, and there was the tacks or nails coming up from the carpet. I felt in all the rooms, and noticed they all had the same thing. I called and they said they would send someone. We will see if they show up this time.
In the garage, there is huge nails coming up from the concrete, luckily my tire just missed it!
I never imagined buying a brand new house, and not being able to even use my shower because of fear of mold from water getting in where it's cracked. I have to replace a toilet, pay to get a brand new shower fixed, on top of all the stuff we had to do prior to moving in.
There's a few other things that happened to, like the spigot popped off, and water was going everywhere in my backyard, water comes in through the windows when it rained the other day. The garage door motor, that hangs on the roof, was coming loose and about to fall because they missed the stud(luckily they did fix that).
To pay as much as we did, and have this many issues is so heartbreaking. We are so disappointed, and regret buying a house here. Especially because everyone I talked to at pulte/centex was so very rude. I wish we would've crawled under every toilet, walked into every shower, and looked over every square inch of the home before purchasing. We even hired an inspector, who didn't catch all this, because again you can't see it when you're walking by it.
Make sure you check every inch of a new centex home, even if the walk through takes hours. We trusted them, that if something was faulty they would make it right. I am so disappointed.
