I have lived at the Palisades for 3 years and the staff is great Kelli and Audri are the kindest and sweetest ladies and the maintenance staff is great especially Raymond they are all so respectful and considerate. I know if I have any issues they will be handled quickly and with a positive outcome.

I genuinely wanted to leave a more positive review. The complex itself is quiet, clean, and well maintained, easily the best part of living here. Unfortunately, communication from management was consistently poor.
There were several last‑minute or unclear notices, including my roommate’s car being towed and charged while he was away on a week‑long business trip. It was towed because it was in a location where they decided to tree trim (but he was gone on a business trip when they sent the notice). Management also issued us a referral bonus for a friend who ultimately didn’t move in; weeks later, after realizing their own administrative mistake, they demanded we repay the $300 that same day or they would begin adding late fees. It was an odd and unnecessarily urgent situation.
Three weeks before my lease ended (while my roommates had already renewed), both of my gate fobs were deactivated and I was removed from the Amazon parcel locker system, replaced by the incoming tenant who would take my room, despite my lease still being active. My roommates also had their keyless lock accounts with Ambient deactivated at the end of the first lease, and canceled one of their reserved parking spots in the system.
The property itself is pleasant, but if you plan to move in, be attentive to issues like the ones above and stay proactive in your communication with management (especially regarding their communication with third parties - ie landscaping, keyless lock service, Amazon, etc.)

I normally don't leave negative reviews, but things have gotten bad enough that residents should know what's going on.
First, I want to say that some of the staff in the management office are genuinely nice and try their best to help. Unfortunately, many of these decisions appear to come from corporate management and are outside of the local office's control.
1. Keyless Locks
Several months ago, the property replaced traditional locks with keyless systems. While it sounds like a modern upgrade, residents are not provided with an emergency physical key.
I experienced a situation where I couldn't lock my door at 5:00 AM before leaving for work because the system wasn't functioning properly. Outside office hours, residents are told to call Ambient, a third-party company, to send someone out to help open or lock the door. Good luck with that. If you need to get to work, waiting for a third-party technician is not a realistic solution.
The fact that residents must rely on an outside company to access or secure their own apartment is insane. A simple backup key would solve the problem, yet management refuses to provide one.
2. Fiber Internet Upgrade
The community recently upgraded to fiber internet. While that sounds great in theory, many residents have been left without internet due to installation issues. I personally missed Zoom calls and was unable to work because of the outage. For people who work remotely, this is a major problem.
3. Landscaping
The property also hired a new landscaping company that aggressively cut back many of the bushes and plants throughout the community. Some were cut down so severely that only stumps remain. Even worse, this was done during 110-degree Arizona temperatures. Many of these plants may not recover, and the property now looks like a storm came through and destroyed the landscaping.
What's frustrating is that these changes are presented as "upgrades," yet they have created more inconvenience and reduced the overall quality of living. Rent continues to increase, but residents are expected to accept unreliable lock systems, internet outages, and landscaping that has significantly hurt the appearance of the community.
I usually try to stay positive and understanding, but potential residents deserve to know what they may be signing up for.
Service request was timely and efficient. No complaints here and as usual staff displays professionalism every time !
