  I’ve absolutely loved living at Lumara! From the aesthetically pleasing property and apartment interiors to the resort style amenities, the community definitely feels like luxury living. The property and amenities are always very clean and well maintained, and it really feels like the staff truly cares about keeping the community looking its best at all times! As someone who keeps my own apartment very clean, I really appreciate seeing that same level of cleanliness throughout the property. The office staff has always been friendly, helpful, and responsive whenever I’ve needed anything. Amanda, the property manager, is the sweetest person ever, and between her and Chris, the assistant manager, it’s the best management team I’ve experienced while living in an apartment! Chris always goes out of his way to answer all of my questions, address any concerns I have, and make sure any issues get taken care of. He's always very accommodating, and I really appreciate that. I love living somewhere that genuinely feels like the staff cares about their residents and wants everyone to have a great living experience! I would absolutely recommend Lumara to anyone looking for a beautiful, well maintained community with exceptional management in North Phoenix!

  I reached out via email with all my info to inquire about an available unit and Section 8. I tried calling multiple times back-to-back during business hours and was completely ignored. The second I blocked my number and called from a private line, they answered immediately. They are clearly screening calls to dodge Section 8 inquiries, which is a direct violation of the Phoenix city ordinance banning source of income discrimination. weirdos

  I was one of the first residents to move into this apartment complex, and unfortunately, it has been a huge disappointment. The fire alarms go off randomly for no apparent reason—no cooking, no steam, nothing. It’s become a constant disruption and a serious safety concern because people start ignoring them. The carpet in these “brand-new” apartments is already lifting and buckling. Management tries to blame it on dogs, but that doesn’t make sense when the damage is in rooms where dogs don’t even go. Security is practically nonexistent. The gates are almost always left open, and the building doors are frequently unlocked, even late at night. Considering we’re still on 19th Avenue, this is completely unacceptable and makes residents feel unsafe. To make matters worse, there is now a roach infestation on the first floor, and ants have become another ongoing problem throughout the property. The property may look nice from the outside, but the quality of the apartments, the lack of maintenance, poor security, and growing pest issues make it far from the luxury community it’s advertised to be. I would not recommend moving here based on my experience. Wish I could give it a 0 stars!!

  If you’re looking for an apartment, ask for Chris Davenport at Lumara Apartments! From the very beginning, Chris made the entire leasing process incredibly easy and stress-free. He took the time to listen to all of our preferences and made sure every single one was met, which made us feel genuinely valued. His communication was outstanding, he was knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure we found the perfect fit. Before we’ve even moved in, we already love the property and couldn’t be more excited to call Lumara home. Chris truly made this such a positive experience. Highly recommend working with him if you’re considering Lumara—you won’t be disappointed!

  My wife and I have been living in this community for about a week now. When we first moved in, we encountered a few issues, but the staff responded quickly, provided assistance, and helped resolve everything smoothly. We really appreciate their professionalism and willingness to help. At this point, my only significant complaint is that the community no longer provides gate remotes because they have already been distributed. I believe management should purchase additional remotes for residents rather than telling newer residents that they can only use key fobs to access the parking gate. On several occasions, I have been standing at the gate trying to use my key fob while another vehicle pulls up behind me and opens the gate with a remote. It feels frustrating and makes the experience unnecessarily inconvenient. I also noticed several reviews mentioning poor sound insulation, pool noise, or hearing people walking through the hallways. I live on the pool-facing side of the property and honestly have not found the noise to be excessive. To be fair, some level of hallway and community noise is simply part of apartment living. I have never lived in an apartment where hallway sounds were completely eliminated. If someone expects total isolation from outside noise, they may be happier in a single-family home rather than an apartment community. Overall, this is a beautiful property. The hallways are consistently clean and pleasantly scented, the shared spaces are spacious and well designed, and there are plenty of areas residents can enjoy. Most importantly, the residents here have been incredibly friendly. During our move, several people offered help, which made a great first impression. My wife and I are both very happy to be living here. I hope the management team can resolve the gate remote situation soon. It does not seem like a particularly difficult issue to fix, and addressing it would greatly improve the resident experience.
