I actually really like this apartment complex, EXCEPT they towed my car in an uncovered parking space with no warning, no call, no letter. Nothing no form of communication, my car is on the lease, I pay my rent. Went down to the leasing office to ask why, bs reason. The reason they towed it like 7 other cars on our walk to the office had. One person didn't even have plates. The lady at the front nice, but gave zero care or empathy towards it. Just meh not our problem. Thanks guys. Love it.

WARNING! I would strongly caution anyone considering Granite Bay Apartments to do your research before signing a lease. My experience with this property was extremely frustrating, and the way my move-out charges were handled was especially concerning.
Throughout our residency, the front office was consistently dismissive and unhelpful. There were multiple occasions where I was left standing in the office waiting for assistance with package pickups while management sat at their computers and failed to acknowledge me. It was a constant feeling that residents were more of an inconvenience than people paying thousands of dollars to live there.
The construction situation was another major problem. Management shut down resident parking for nearly a month while the construction company appeared to be working only about one day a week. Residents were forced to park up to a quarter-mile from their apartments. I have a back injury and repeatedly asked management for assistance, but they essentially told me there was nothing they were willing to do. Additional parking eventually became available, but only after residents had already dealt with weeks of unnecessary hardship.
The move-out charges are where my experience became especially concerning.Granite Bay initially attempted to charge me $612 for a full carpet replacement after only two years of living there. This was builder-grade carpet, and the majority of the wear was normal wear from everyday living. What makes this even more frustrating is that the prorated amount was only approximately $212 — meaning the original charge was roughly $400 more than the amount I was ultimately responsible for.
To me, that raises a serious question: Why was I initially billed $612 for the entire carpet replacement when the amount that could actually be charged to me on a prorated basis was only $212?
I also received a $135 cleaning charge that had not been clearly disclosed or explained. I did exactly what I believe any reasonable resident should do: I contacted management, questioned the charge, and formally requested documentation showing what cleaning was performed and what the actual cost was.
Instead of providing the requested invoice or receipt, the disputed balance was sent to collections.I wasn't refusing to pay a legitimate charge. I was asking them to provide documentation supporting a charge I disputed — while simultaneously dealing with a carpet charge that had initially been inflated by approximately $400 above the prorated amount.
That experience left me with the impression that the property was willing to bill residents aggressively and let them fight to get charges corrected afterward. Whether intentional or simply extremely poor management practices, that is not something I believe prospective residents should ignore.
If you're considering Granite Bay Apartments, ask very detailed questions about move-out charges, carpet replacement, cleaning fees, parking, construction, and how disputes are handled — and get everything in writing.
After my experience, I would not recommend this property and would not live here again.

We were having a problem with ants outside in the grassy area so Every time we would take our dog out to the bathroom we would get eaten up. I put in a request and the Staff at Granite Bay responded way faster than I thought they would! Although they’ll never be able to get rid of every single ant, They did come out quick and treat the area! When I came home today and took the dog out, I did not get attacked! I feel like the office staffs quick responses to this matter and getting maintenance out here ASAP was awesome! Great job I appreciate you guys!

It's like you guys don't care.. our apartment.. the whole unit could've gone up in flames.. and your answer is.. we'll let maintenance know.. by that time the fire department could've been here... hours later and we're still waiting...

Only good thing i can think of is maintenance. they are punctual and do a good job. The staff are sassy and infallible. i had my car registration paid and was waiting on the stickers & it was towed. The towing company was professional and admitted their mistake and to come pick it up. Meanwhile the staff is more concerned with bieng right rather than helping. the rent is pretty sporadic but that is about everywhere. The actual apartment and property is nice, but the front office is disrespectful trash.
