  Emergency maintenance is a joke! Starting at 9pm last night our ac stopped working. Called the Emergency maintenance line and all I got was either an immediate hangup or 3 rings then hang up. Its 87 degrees in the apartment at 8am. This is going to get to dangerous and destructive levels in this record breaking heat. We had to leave and take our cats with us to protect them. I have attempted to call Emergency maintenance a dozen times and every time I get hang up with not even an ability to leave a message. Knowing the office doesn't open until 11 today just makes me very angry and anxious about the state of our apartment when they finally get around to our maintenance request. This is just NOT OK. Very unhappy resident. Edit, they finally got someone there after 1130 but then immediately sent me a notice about a table on our patio threatening to give us a 10 day notice. The amount of residents who keep trash put for days during non-trash days and who violate these pidly things is astounding but we get retaliated against for not wanting an uninhabitable apartment and for making a review. Oh, I should also point out the fact that they absolutely fail to properly maintain the trees in the community so each time the wind blows a new tree limb falls down (many times on cars). Can't wait to get my new house built so I can move out.

  Kirsten made the experience of moving in low stress and easy. She was quick to reply to my emails and took the time to call me and my mother to put us at ease. She was conscientious when it came to inspecting the apartment and I really felt like she had my back. She has been supportive with maintenance requests and has followed up without fail. I am really grateful to have her as a resource here at 56 North.

  I had a wonderful experience securing a lease at 56 North. Moving to the area from out of state was daunting, but Kirsten in the leasing office made every step easy and was incredibly responsive to any questions that came up throughout the process. I especially appreciated her professionalism and understanding when it came to a few road bumps during my application process. Roxanne and Zachary were also very helpful in finding a solution for my late move-in arrival. As for the community and apartment itself, I did extensive research before choosing an apartment, and I am very satisfied that I chose 56 North.

  56 North, is a Beautiful apartment community. The staff, specially Kirsten Dubberke was great and very helpful! She made our move to new apartment very easy and efficient.
