Zero stars if I would be able to. Please read carefully and take your own sanity into account, my move out experience was a nightmare. Upon moving out, the itemized bill as required by Arizona law for deductions to my deposit was not sent over, and immediately that was sent to collections. Multiple emails and calls requesting this information were ignored. While the apartment I rented out was clean, Verona Park's conduct has been beyond terrible and I hope that nobody has to experience what I am currently going through.

I’m going to give the honest insider review that I needed when I was apartment hunting to help some people out who can’t get a gauge on this place. This place.. okay so first things first youre going to have to realize most of your neighbors are gonna be ghe…tto. If you’re cool with being around that sort of life style choice then you will survive here. The plus side is people for the most part are just inside their apartments but holy trashy looking balconies. They may be inside but the trashy behavior is still out on display. I could just be higher maintenance but walking around an apartment complex and seeing literal junkyards on balconies just icks me out. I’d lowkey be embarrassed if i was single and dating and brought back someone here lol during the day. Just take them straight inside 😭 Anyways, you won’t really see much actual trashy activity going on daily but when you do it’s pretty bad. For example, my neighbor has like 10 people living in a 1 bedroom apartment, and they constantly fight within their own family and also with my other neighbor because of how loud they are. My other neighbor has anger issues and punches and kicks the walls and is fighting constantly with someone. Then my neighbor across from me is def on a controlled substance and likes to be on her balcony screaming on the phone about being an alcoholic but i know m**eth face when i see it.. maybe she does both idk. The Cops are also here fairly often. If you have fun people watching and also have a good sense of humor you may like it here short term idk, but next thing is THE ROACHHEEESSSS. They def have a problem. I think the problem lies within the tenants. You can’t stop a roach problem when the people living in these apartments live like animals and don’t handle their trash correctly. So they just breed and breed and breed. It’s an infestation. During summer, if you walk anywhere you’re going to have roaches running past your feet so if you aren’t scared of that then you’ll also survive here. The next thing is you WILL absolutely have abunch of maintenance problems so when you inevitably book a maintenance request just be aware that these maintenance guys will bust into your apartment even if you select to call first. I’ve had to do over 5 request since being there and each time they just came inside without calling. So just keep that in mind if you’re a woman living alone, it might jump scare you. However, the guys are nice but it’s the most insane behavior I’ve ever seen from maintenance. All in all, if it’s short term like i did for a year while i got my things situated to move to Gilbert you should be fine. I’m more so making this review for any women who are similar to me in not liking bugs, dirty/messy spaces and who plan to be living alone. It’s not a HORRIBLE pit stop while you figure other things out and you certainly won’t be alone in that because you can tell the other half of the tenants are normal and good people just roughing it here for short term.. but you’re def not going to feel super happy and fulfilled living here by any means. You’ll save money, and that’s about the extent of the pros here. Good luck!
