  I love when property managers actually take time to understand your needs and not just push an agenda. Aries was the absolute best!   My lease is coming to an end and I have mixed feelings about my experience at this complex. I have lived here for almost a year. Overall my apartment has been great. It is spacious, has modern features and I have really enjoyed the living space. The front office staff has also always been kind and willing to help when issues are brought to their attention. However there have been several recurring issues that have made the experience less than ideal. When we first moved in there were still damages from previous tenants that had not been addressed. Within the first few months several cabinet screws became loose and we caught them before anything fell. Our toilet seats also become loose often and need repeated attention. More recently we have had issues with bugs despite living on the fourth floor. We have found spiders in closets and crickets throughout the apartment. There have also been issues involving other residents. At one point a tenant repeatedly allowed their dog to use the hallway. The office responded quickly and shampooed the carpets and I appreciated that. I also want to thank Jodi for addressing the situation. However a few months later we began finding animal droppings in stairways that were not being cleaned up. As a pet owner I understand accidents happen but cleaning up after pets in shared spaces is the owner’s responsibility. Some amenities have also been disappointing. The pool was closed for several weeks which was frustrating since my roommate used it often. The elevators have broken down multiple times. The electric vehicle chargers have not worked during my entire lease which has affected friends who live here. The trash area near the west entrance is often overflowing and has a strong odor. Trash is also sometimes picked up late in the evening which can be inconvenient for residents. I also want to clarify I did not place the note shown in my photos. Package security has also been an issue. My roommate had a package stolen and the package room is often disorganized. Packages sometimes sit for weeks and delivery drivers occasionally leave items outside which increases the risk of theft. The building keypads have never worked properly. I contacted the office early in my lease and was told a new system would be installed but it never was. This makes it inconvenient when guests visit since we have to go downstairs to let them in. The built in speakers in our unit have also never worked. Maintenance explained a required component was missing so they cannot be used. It is disappointing since it is a feature. While I have not experienced this directly some neighbors have had AC issues multiple times which is concerning during the Arizona summer. Overall I do not think this is a bad place to live. I love my apartment itself and the front office staff has been kind and helpful. My main concern is that many of these issues have been recurring or unresolved throughout my lease. Individually they may seem minor but together they affect the overall experience. I hope management takes these concerns into account because the complex has potential and with better maintenance communication and attention to shared spaces it could be a much better place to live.
