They are going to have to drag me out of my apartment complex kicking and screaming, because if I didn’t have to move out of state, I would live here forever.
The complex was built in the 80s, so there are some quirks that come up here and there. But if I had to choose between lakeside and a newly built apartment complex, which I’ve done before, I’m choosing lakeside every time. I wouldn’t sacrifice the giant trees, vaulted ceilings, or wooden patios for anything!
You will be within walking distance of a grocery store and delicious restaurants (Valle Luna and Mr. Pickles are my favorites). Sunday morning walks around the lake to Coffee Rush kept me sane in a time where I really needed grounding. You can also walk down the street to the most adorable area with a Daiso, Teso Life, Gen Korean BBQ, 99 Ranch Market, and Somi Somi. Keep going down the street and you’ll find a huge park with a pool, pickle ball courts, baseball/soccer fields, and a running track. The nearby neighborhood, Andersen Springs, is perfect for getting in a long walk.
There is plenty of parking, two cutie pools, a community garden, a dog park, and the nicest and most prompt management/maintenance staff I’ve ever encountered. Most issues can be fixed within a day. They are always working hard to keep the community clean and the landscaping well groomed. They are very communicative if there is ever a community wide issue and will provide progress updates.
The one qualm I have is with the gym. I understand that it’s a small space, but I think a huge improvement would be to replace the kettle bell rack with a dumbbell rack. However, there are plenty of gyms within a couple miles!
I want to give a huge thank you to lakeside for making this last year great. From management to neighbors, I have had the absolute best experience. Do yourself a favor and sign a lease here.
