Avoid at all costs. After doing copious amounts of research I settled on this property. I loved that they had back yard areas! I have now been here for six months and have regretted my decision. The property is swarming with insects. And not just the occasional mosquito or fly, the gnats and spiders are outrageous (see the pictures- the brown are spider webs) . The property went without being landscaped for three months( see pictures, the back yard had grass that went to seed) causing significant overgrowth, to the point where you could no longer walk on the sidewalks. It was brought up to management no less than 10 times, and still it persisted. The local management is a joke. They don’t live at the property, therefore they do not care how the property looks. Nor did they seem to care about the concerns of the folks that live here. They also control the message board and refused to post negative feedback, And rather choose To respond privately via messages.
Upon Move in, The unit was dirty. There were stains on the floor from the previous tenant, the cabinets had been painted over in the wrong shade so they don’t match, The floor had holes in it and large ding marks from the cheap linoleum, and the door had a ding in it so bad the paint is missing. Not only that, but they do not Maintenance the artificial turf. It smell smells like pee, even after being cleaned and hosed down with a pressure washer.
I have regretted my decision to move here every day for the last six months. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.
Was a good complex ,until the new management took over. Constant alerts of break-ins on their community wall/message board, happens day or night even though it's a gated community. Management does nothing, rarely are there in office. Complex is only less than 5 years old If you ever have any issues with appliances it takes weeks or more than a month for it to be fixed or resolved. Termites, rodents are a problem, almost every unit has rodent traps outside. More focused on their image than the community itself.

Nice but the electronics package is a scam.. WiFi is always out for long periods of time. Can’t purchase your own through another company either.

I had the pleasure of touring three different Christopher Todd community in Surprise Area. All of them were 5 stars!
Mountain view stood out even more. Susie and Alicia helped walk me through the touring, application process, and finally signing my lease 😁.
They were supportive emotionally... introduced me to other residents, and mad me feel safe and at home from day one.
I'm excited to begin my new life experience here in April.
Update Sunday February 15th, 2026
I just read my review on Google and the response from the community manager of Christopher Todd community at McDowell.
The three Christopher Todd communities I toured were all located in Surprise AZ.
The community I will be moving in to on April 20th is Christopher Todd community at Mountain View in Surprise AZ.
I can only speak regarding my experience touring the communities at Mountain View.... Greenway....and Marley Park.
I'm writing this update to clarify my review for anyone reading this and also to make sure Susie and Alicia get the recognition they deserve from their community manager at Christopher Todd communities at Mountain View.
