  I would never buy a home from a clayton home dealer I don't know what they tell there salesman every meeting but I just experienced the worse sales experience if my life im 50 and have bought several homes but this was awful. I did a deal with a salesman early August on a 4 bedroom shoreline never in the whole conversations we had were ever about a 3 bedroom now saying we were in the process of selling our home which took about 2 weeks to get a contract done I kept in contact with my salesman the entire time while this was goin on He sends over the price of my home to my banker. My banker starts the process and gets everything done and the appraisal which I paid $625. The next week the salesman calls my bank and says that he needs 10000+ because he put in the wrong #s he put the price of the 3 bedroom and at that moment my wife and I hearts were broke and the anger and stress made us both sick all the time.We had everything he asked for and for him to tell us this news almost 4 weeks into the deal makes no sense we just thought he was giving us a deal since they had a sale goin on for 250 years of America. So we call corporate 4-5 times they say they record these calls well if they did then why does corporate do nothing about this.They just talk to there general manager and then the General manager tells his sales manager then the sales manager tells me which was something I've never been told in the sales field in my entire life. Quote (I think since ur not happy with clayton homes then we shouldn't do business) at this branch. Searcy I don't want to pull the race card or anything but I'm at a lost for words. I was perfectly happy for 3 to 4 weeks I got unhappy after I done sold our house a nice 4 bedroom brick home in a neighborhood and we just bought some land cause we r tired of the neighborhood seen and this is what happens I'm at a lost for words The sale manager all he could say is I'm not perfect and all I could think is all that time I spent and talked with u at least 4 times a week went right thru 1 ear and out the other,also I ask who was goin to pay for my $625 appraisal fee and he said ur bank can revise the deal well he was wrong again I had to pay for another appraisal for my new home which was sent from love up above because we were fixing to be homeless and Clayton didn't care 1 bit I had to give them 1 star for the amazing performance they did but In all honestly this branch at least deserves no stars at all they r heartless. I was trying to pull up deal sheet but I'll post later because I told my bank to save it for me

  We didn’t decide to buy with Clayton’s, but Joel was the person assisting us and he is extremely kind and good at his job. Really appreciate all the help he gave us
