  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 20/10 — The Waters at Chenal After spending 12 full months at The Waters at Chenal, I can honestly say this was far more than simply having an apartment in West Little Rock—it was an experience. Some places are just somewhere you sleep, but The Waters at Chenal feels like a place where you can actually live, breathe, reset, and enjoy life. The peaceful setting, beautiful water views, trails, pools, and overall atmosphere make five stars feel inadequate. The best way I can describe The Waters at Chenal is with a luxury bass-fishing metaphor: life is a lake, and you never know what you’re going to catch. Sometimes you go out expecting nothing and come back with the catch of a lifetime. Other times, the greatest reward is simply sitting by the water and appreciating where you are. With its private lakes, waterfront scenery, walking trails, and park-like surroundings, The Waters at Chenal gives you something increasingly rare in apartment living—room to breathe. The location is another major advantage. Being on Chenal Parkway puts you close to shopping, dining, entertainment, employers, and everyday conveniences throughout West Little Rock while still giving you the peaceful feeling of a waterfront community. It’s the best of both worlds: convenient enough to stay connected, yet peaceful enough to feel like you’ve escaped the city. My experience was also shaped tremendously by Jasmin Paz. A great apartment community is not just buildings, landscaping, and amenities—it’s ultimately about the people representing the place. Jasmin brought a personal and welcoming element to my experience that made The Waters at Chenal feel like more than a business transaction. That kind of leadership and human connection deserves recognition. The community itself has an impressive lifestyle package: private lakes, walking trails, pools and sun decks, a fitness center, grilling and picnic areas, courtyards, a dog park, and a beautiful park-like environment. The apartments also offer the elevated features you expect, including modern finishes and comfortable layouts. It genuinely feels like an entire lifestyle rather than simply an apartment complex. But honestly, the water is what separates the experience for me. There is something different about coming home to trees, trails, open space, and water. It reminds you that life doesn’t have to move at 100 miles per hour every day. Sometimes you need to slow down, cast the line, watch the water, and see what happens. That is why the bass-fishing comparison goes even deeper: you don’t measure a great fishing trip only by the size of the bass—you measure it by the entire experience. The scenery matters. The quiet matters. The anticipation matters. The people matter. My 12 months at The Waters at Chenal were exactly that kind of experience. The apartment mattered, but the environment, location, amenities, people, and memories made the whole year special. I also appreciated having an on-site team and maintenance presence. That infrastructure matters because great apartment living isn’t just about what you see—it’s about knowing there are people working behind the scenes to keep the community functioning. Combined with the setting and amenities, it creates an elevated experience that is difficult to duplicate.   Management is LAZY AS HELL . Y’all already only got 3 rated starts . I made an appointment for 5:00 spoke with the lady up front told her I left my ID I lived down the street could be back in 15min . Made it back EXACTLY @5:15!!!! She told me she normally doesn’t do showings after 5:00 but will wait for me then when I got back at 5:15 she told me it was too close to 5:20 . Was a waste of time . She could have just said to reschedule. Unprofessional and I was already told the leasing office was lazy , point proven. Not even interested anymore and wouldn’t recommend

  Their website advertises in-unit washers and dryers, but that's misleading. When you ask about them, they tell you they aren't responsible and that you have to deal with a separate company. So if there's an issue, don't expect the leasing office to help. If you want a place with good management and less stress, I would not recommend living here. A word is enough for the wise.
