Stay away. We got sick from a massive mold issue in the vents / AC. Extremely dirty interiors, incompetent and dishonest staff, lying about the mold when issues were raised. We were able to break the lease because we paid for a private inspection to confirm the presence of mold. The rent and fees are rediculously expensive for the gross incompetence and dirty living conditions. Stay away or get sick and then be gaslight into thinking you need to stay or pay massive fees to get out.
This is a long overdue review as we thankfully only stayed one month a year ago.

I was disappointed with how my application was handled. I was told that my application “looked weird,” but no one explained what that meant before discussing my consumer report. As an applicant, I expected clear communication and professionalism throughout the process. If there was an issue with my application or screening report, it should have been explained respectfully and in accordance with the information provided in the adverse action notice. Better communication and transparency would make the application process much less frustrating for future applicants.

The apartments are okay, but they’re not great. There is mold, and the stairwells haven’t been painted in a long time—the paint is peeling and chipping off.
You pay for pest control, but it’s hard to actually receive the service. When you call, they tell you to schedule an appointment, but after you schedule it, they often never show up.
The property has a bad smell from pet urine, and it can be very loud, especially in the back of the complex. The walkways are also often dirty.
One thing that really bothers me is how they handle late rent notices. If you’re even two days late, they’ll tape a notice to your front door instead of sliding it under the door or placing it in your mailbox. This makes your personal business visible to everyone, and it can be embarrassing, especially for families with children who may get picked on because of it.
Overall, the apartments are livable, but there are several maintenance and customer service issues that need improvement.
Spanish Fort Town Center Apartments has been one of the best places to rent in the area. The apartments are excellent, the maintenance team is phenomenal, and the entire staff is pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. A special thank you to Michaela, Manager Annie, Assistant Manager Ljerka for her charm, hospitality, and expertise, and Mr. Jim with the maintenance team and his colleague for always being reliable and efficient. The level of care and service here truly stands out. I truly wish that I have known about the place sooner.

My time here was from late 2023 to the end of 2024.
That said, this was by far the nicest apartment I've got to call home. From the start, I was in a rush to find a place when moving to the Mobile area. The staff was very accommodating on getting me squared away and making the move less stressful.
The complex is very dog friendly. The dog park and nearby area is great for walks.
I never had any issues with maintenance.
If you are into cars, Cars & Coffee of Mobile Bay host a quarterly show in the parking lot next door. It's a strictly monitored event, so no excessive noise to worry about.
I had to print papers often for work, and the computer and printer in the office never gave me issues. The gym was really nice, and I wish I had used it more haha.
If I had to nitpick one thing, it would be the laundry room. Not enough washers/dryers and the price was relatively high.
All in all, I would recommend the Spanish Fort Town Center Apartments to anyone!
