  Applied to this complex with my husband. It was like pulling teeth for information out of Mia, only to find out that we had been allowed to apply for a unit who still had active tenants! After what was the most frustrating 10 days of my life I have now been informed that although Mia promised that app AND admin fees were being waived this month, this is not the case. It may be a great place for some but I wouldn't apply unless you have an excess of time on your hands.

  I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. When I first moved in, I didn’t have any major issues with my unit. It wasn’t quite what was advertised online because the “renovations” were very superficial, with paint in the bathtubs and on the bathroom counters, but it was manageable. The problems began during the last six months of my lease. My license plate was stolen off my car, and packages were taken from my doorstep. There was also a body found on the property, and management never notified residents about the incident. Throughout all of this, the office staff offered no support. After moving out, I was told my deposit would be returned within a few weeks. Instead, it took more than three months and required multiple in-person visits and calls to the corporate office. I was constantly given the runaround, something I’ve never experienced at any other complex. I’m sharing this review not out of spite, but because future residents deserve transparency. My experience started out fine, but it ended in frustration, safety concerns, and a lack of communication that I wouldn’t want anyone else to deal with.

  I lovvvve how spacious my apartment is. Most fixtures are relatively updated maintenance is very responsive and there is an in unit washer/dryer connection. That said, there are issues. It's an older apartment and overall they do a good job of keeping it up but the bathrooms could seriously use a renovation. They spray painted the tubs in my unit and the paint is peeling and no matter how often and well I clean them they look grundgey and it makes them peel more. Also it is very conveniently located to downtown (which is great!) but very closely located to Ann Street. I am not pleased with security here. They say they have a company but I never see them patrolling, it isn't gated, there is now only one entrance and exit and there have been several incidents that unfortunately may cause me to move if they do not improve security.
