  READ BEFORE YOU APPLY , 0 STARS — DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have been dealing with a mold issue in my apartment, and Broadstreet at EastChase’s response has been extremely disappointing. I reported visible mold in my master bathroom and bedroom closet on August 17. Maintenance treated the areas, SERVPRO inspected the apartment, and a dehumidifier was placed in the unit 2 days later. There is still visible mold, remediation is ongoing, and management cannot give me a completion date. The person I have been communicating with, Kimberly Bullock, told me that management is not making an independent determination regarding whether the apartment is habitable. They are still waiting on SERVPRO’s assessment, yet they are also not relocating me and are refusing to prorate or credit my rent. I asked a very simple question: If management doesn’t currently know whether the apartment is safe, how can they justify me living there while there is still visible mold? I sent a follow-up email asking them to explain exactly that. They have not responded. I also have a friend who lived at Legends at Taylor Lakes in Montgomery who experienced mold in her apartment and was relocated while the issue was addressed. At the very least, Broadstreet at EastChase could have offered the same consideration. I understand that maintenance issues take time to resolve. What I don’t understand is refusing to relocate a resident or offer any rent consideration while simultaneously saying you don’t know whether the apartment is habitable or when remediation will be completed. If you are considering living here, DON’T. I would never recommend this complex.

  My experience with eastchase could not have been any more welcoming by Kimberly. All things were explained in detail and could not have been any more pleased. Highly recommend anyone seeking apartment living to come see Kimberly and Haylee for the best experience

  I lived here from 2024-2026 for graduate school and I had no issues. Maintenance was speedy and I didn’t need them really at all for anything. The gym is very nice! I love it and the pool is good too but kinda dirty (it is an outdoor pool so destined to have bugs). When I first moved the property was nicer but I think the new people just don’t walk around the property and actually see what needs to be done. The landscaping is alright all they do is cut dead grass and plant flowers. I do think they should get a regular dumpster. The trash compactor was always broken or “full” because people don’t know how to use it or throw stuff in there they don’t want which jams it. It would be a lot less of a headache if they got a regular dumpster. The valet trash is amazing! He took more than he was required to take and always checked our trash can to make sure it was empty! I often times had to tell them to empty the dog potty area bags because they would be so full for days maybe even weeks. They need to enforce picking up dog poop a bit more too. Lastly, the unit could use some renovations and my bathroom was moldy. They should decrease rent for the condition of the place. It definitely not in the same shape as the Morgan or other complexes which are the same rent.

  I’ve only lived here for 3 months, and I’m already very disappointed with the condition of this apartment complex. The property is not well maintained, and it shows. Residents often put busted trash bags outside their apartments, leaving food and garbage scattered throughout the breezeways. Trash cans are also left out all day, every day, making the property look messy and neglected. Management has always been polite and friendly when I’ve spoken with them, but they don’t seem to enforce the community rules. Because of that, the same issues continue without being addressed, and the overall appearance of the complex keeps getting worse. Inside my apartment, I’ve also had maintenance problems. When I first moved in, the dryer barely worked. After only three months, it has now completely stopped working. It’s frustrating to deal with an appliance that should have been repaired or replaced before a new tenant moved in. I expected a clean, well-maintained community where residents and management worked together to keep the property looking nice. Instead, I’ve experienced ongoing maintenance issues and a lack of enforcement that has allowed the property to deteriorate. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements, because the current condition of the complex does not reflect what residents should expect.

  I am very disappointed with my experience at this apartment complex. I have submitted multiple maintenance requests, sent multiple emails with photos, and even gone to the leasing office in person(June 23) to report an ongoing issue with my AC unit no working properly and leaking. The leak has caused significant water damage to my wall, ceiling, and baseboards. Because the issue has gone unresolved, mold, and mildew have now formed on the baseboards and carpet. I sent emails with photos to the leasing agent, Haylee Hall(June 3 & June22), but never received a response. I also spoke with Anthony,(June 2) who told me someone would come out to treat the affected area and repaint the damaged surfaces. It has now been over a month, no one has come, and the damage has continued to get worse. I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but failing to communicate, and allowing water damage and mold to worsen is unacceptable. Mold and water damage are serious health and safety concerns that be addressed promptly.
