  We started this process in May. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so nice and welcoming. The offered water and lollipops to the kids. We started working with Amanda and from day 1 she was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question with such ease (and I had ALOT of questions). She was quick to answer texts and calls and told me things that needed to happen step by step and kept us in the loop the entire time. We were able to tour the houses there without dragging the kids along because the amazing office staff stopped what they were doing and kept them occupied (so thankful for them!) I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Amanda and the entire Clayton staff. Very pleased customer and I have already recommended people to go see Amanda and her team!

  Where do I begin? So first of all I went to just research to figure out the process and check my credit. That's when we met Mel. Talk about AWESOME!! She was so helpful, knowledgeable, patient and not pushy at all. The process from my credit check to picking out a house only took awhile because I had ran into problems picking out property. Which by the way Mel helped with by answering any questions I ran into and suggested a realtor. Then thing picked up fast and was really easier than I thought it should be. Today I closed on our new home and it was comparably faster than the last 2 times I had closed on buying a home. I definitely will recommend Clayton homes. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

  BUYERS BEWARE!!! The WORST company, customer service, quality & experience I have EVER had! Would NOT recommend to ANYONE! Purchased a brand new house from them a year and a half ago. Within the first month the floors started caving in. This was just one of the MANY issues our home had from the start. They sent out their "maintenance crew" multiple times to "fix" the issues and they ended up making more of a mess and causing more problems! They also showed up WITHOUT tools & asked my husband to borrow his tools! After fighting with the local dealer for MONTHS for resolutions, we were FINALLY contacted by the customer care manager from the factory in Tennessee. We expressed our frustrations and sent pictures and after a month or 2 he FINALLY sent someone, a local subcontractor, out to look at everything. The contractor made his report and sent it to the manager in Tennessee for "approval". Another month or so went by before the subcontractor was finally able to come back to our house to start working and repairing our "brand new home". ALL the floors throughout our home had to be ripped up and replaced with 3/4" OSB, since all that was originally installed was 1/4" OSB. So, room by room our house was torn apart while having to move all our furniture and belongings from room to room, while living there. EVERYTHING was covered in sawdust! Our kitchen was torn apart for weeks! When the subcontractor went under our house to check the supports, he found that one of our walls between our dining room and our hall bath had NOTHING under it holding it up! It was literally just hanging there! The sub added plenty of extra supports under the entire house and fixed the issue with the wall. There were tons of missing trim through the house, broken window, bent screens on windows, gaps between walls, damaged doors & door frames, trash left all in our yard from moving our home, the list just goes on & on. The sub even climbed up on our roof to check the roof cap, which was damaged and he ended up replacing it. There were screws sticking up out of our roof that were left from when they moved our home, which the sub repaired. Our first year of living in our "brand new home" was utter HELL and a NIGHTMARE of an experience. The LACK of care, effort, quality & remorse is appalling when we've spent so much of our hard earned money for a less than sub-par home. If you're in the market for a modular/mobile home, steer clear of Clayton Homes. Also, don't bother purchasing the 5-year extended warranty because it's a JOKE!

  This is a wonderful sales team to deal with. I recently bought a home here because of this factor. My team was Amanda and Daniella and they were great.I live In Mississippi went to the local dealership and was not taken seriously by the Gulfport sales team. Issues came up as they usually do when purchasing a new home but the team in Mobile was quick to address all issues. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new home.
