  When I first moved in here I thought it was a nice place to live. I didn't get to see my apartment before I moved in and I was told it was going to be handicapped accessible and it wasn't there were no handicap ramps when I moved in I had to go to the city to get that done and now the apartment complex has become unsafe with the front gate not working now for 2 years since I've been here and the chain link fence for the last 7 months not repaired where there's two big gaping holes in it and people coming through from Jordan Lane to get over here to the econo Lodge in University Drive. People breaking into our vehicles because they're coming through the fence looking for something to steal looking around our complex snooping through the place I don't even know if we have a courtesy officer. There's been two arrests made outside my apartment from people trespassing. You know maintenance orders are getting done but not in a timely manner. The place is trying to do better but when you have management that changes six times in 2 years that's a problem. I haven't had a door in my bathroom for over a year and I get told well it's on order. Other people's pets walk through the courtyard and poop all over the place what's the apartment complex does nothing about it except tells them to make sure they clean up their poop and they don't because you can't see the courtyard over here around the corner huge dogs walking around off the leash that a normal complex wouldn't even allow and this is supposed to be a high-end complex it's over 30 years old it's breaking down it's falling apart and it's all maintenance can do to keep with the problems. You pay your rent on the 3rd and they don't post till the 6th making you look like you're late. Are they trying to do better I don't know being a former property manager and knowing the system really well I don't agree with some of the stuff they're doing. Since I'm disabled now they look at me a different way but I have an education and I know the rules and the laws when it comes to property Management I just think this complex has got a lot of improving to do before they deserve a four or five-star rating you can show a picture of the nice parts of the complex but go ahead and show the pictures of the bad parts as well. There's no grass in front of my apartment just dirt. I was definitely deceived when it comes to this apartment complex that's for sure I would not recommend anybody to live here as a matter of fact I would recommend that the residents here move out. The water is not safe to drink and it was rolled up as a health hazard by the Madison county health department in May of 2024 I'm definitely looking for another place to live I don't want to live here at all for another place to live do I say the Davis apartments get to 1 to 2 star rating that's for sure.

  Do not waste your money applying, they don't even check your credit before denying your application. Unprofessional management.
