  Noticing that most of these are almost a year ago Worst place to live. Trash compactor is always full and overflowing leaving it to be rodents around it. I have raccoons in my wall literally sounds like someone moving around in the wall all night between me and my bottom neighbors we are continuously beating on the wall. Kitchen sink faucet to hot water is is broken sink leaked on the left side. No washer dryer connection they want you to use the onsite. However there’s always only one washer and dryer working trash man comes thru 11 12 at night slamming is engine seemingly done on purpose. Just avoid this place overall

  I am extremely disappointed with the quality of care and professionalism at The Hills at Hoover. When we first moved in back in March 2025, we went 6 months without air or heat before the unit was finally replaced. Going through the Alabama summer with temperatures reaching nearly 100 degrees was not only frustrating, but honestly terrifying. The humidity caused mold to begin forming in the rooms, and throughout that entire time there was no sense of urgency from the staff to resolve the issue. On top of that, the staff were often rude and dismissive, and it frequently felt like they simply did not want to deal with me or my concerns. After repeatedly requesting to be moved to another apartment, we were given the runaround for weeks about which unit we would receive and when. To make matters worse, one of the apartments they discussed with us was actually given to someone else. When we finally moved into the new apartment in October, we were greeted with conditions that were completely unacceptable: the apartment was unsanitary, filthy, and roach-infested. The refrigerator was full of roaches to the point that we had to remove it ourselves and carry the fridge from our old apartment up two flights of stairs. The tubs were chipping (and still have not been properly repaired), the balcony is broken, the bathroom exhaust fan screams when turned on, and the dishwasher was broken. Although some issues have finally been resolved, it took months of constant nagging and repeated maintenance requests. Even now, the dishwasher issue remains unresolved because management told me it is not a “necessity” and therefore not a priority. Also, the balcony remains unfixed and causes a safety concern. This entire experience has caused significant mental and emotional distress for my family. I would strongly encourage anyone considering moving here to stay away and carefully consider other options.

  BEWARE!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE! HORRIBLE STAFF, HORRIBLE MAINTENANCE, ROACHES! The staff is literally awful with one exception, and she probably knows who she is. But one really sweet lady in the office doesn’t negate the fact that the entire rest of the staff is short fused, and are bothered by everything. My ceiling has been pouring water and nobody has done anything about it. Save yourself the headache, this place is not worth it.

  Love my apartment, love the staff. Just wish they were there when they say theyd be there. Or have buisness hours posted. And be there when they tell you a time to meet them back. 4 seperate parties waited outside the office this morning. A staff member told one party to be there at 10am. Alsmost 1030 rolls around and everybody leaves.
