  I have had a very good experience with buying a mobile home through Clayton Homes in Clanton. Julie is simply the best salesperson ever. She is very knowledgeable about mobile homes and if there is something she doesn't know she will find the information you want very quickly. Anytime I had an issue or a question during the purchasing process she always responded promptly. When anything needed to be done that was related to purchasing or trailer set up I knew I could always contact her and she would handle it. She just makes it so easy and worry free. You can tell she enjoys what she does and wants to help people find a home they can afford. I highly recommend asking for Julie when you go to Clayton Homes in Clanton.

  Been in ours for a little over a year. We have had leaks like crazy. They were supposed to be fixed, but were only patched multiple times with hopes of them getting us through the one year that they were obligated to. Once the year is up they drop you like a bad habit. Our house still leaks in the ceiling, the shingles on the roof looks like they were installed by toddlers, and the floor was never fixed. I kept getting told that it was turned into the manufacturer and someone would be in touch. Guess what... that never happened because the manufacturer was never notified. Nail heads are popping out of the sheetrock inside on every stud all the way from the ceiling to the floor. I was recently told by a Rheem technician that the doors that are supposed to let the hvac and hot water heater breathe are very poorly designed and the units should've been placed differently. Hence why the tech was out, because the hot water heater is already going due to lack of airflow. Also, come to find out, the house wasn't trimmed out properly. That's an ENTIRELY different issue all on its own. These are poorly built no matter what upgrades you get. RUN away don't walk! They are great during the buying process, but once that's done... forget it. Don't even get me started on the extended warranty. It's nothing but a joke. The Clayton horror stories are real. There's even a Facebook group dedicated to the horrible things that's wrong with these poorly built things. I wish I would've found that group before purchasing. I definitely would've went a different direction.

  My parents have recently purchased a home from Clayton and the person who is responsible for that is Jullie crosier she is one of the most loving respectable courtesy patient people that I have ever worked with. She really do need a raise because she is just that good. I appreciate everything she did and I appreciate Clay homes for giving my parents their dream house. Thank you.
