  I visited a family member last month and this month, I must say IM DISGUSTED!! The way it smells like urine and homeless people sleeping at every exit of the building but that’s NOT THE WORSE PART!!!! The have an assigned area to TAKE TRASH OUT, it is infested with mold, soil, dirt, trash, wet slimy stuff everywhere. When you walk out of the units you smell TRASH from the trash closet. I DO HAVE VIDEOS AND PICTURES THAT HAS BEEN SENT TO JEFFERSON COUNTY HEATH DEPARTMENTS AND BUILDING & INSPECTIONS! For the amount of rent they pay, this should be a crime! I will be sharing my short on TikTok tonighttttttt! -if post is removed I will repost!

  Edit #4: After working these things out with the company, we stayed another year, but now our lease is up. We were going to renew again, however, new neighbors moved in above us. They stay up until 4am every night blasting rap music, stomping, and banging on the floor. On my way up to my room, I got the chance to meet our lovely new neighbor. A guy smoking a blunt... in the elevator... with his 2 year old child next to him. The leasing company seems to have no discretion. Edit #3: Very ghetto. Fire alarm often goes off at odd hours of the night because people smoke weed inside of their apartment. Typical slum apartment marketed as "Luxury"; AC doesn't work. It is currently 75 degrees in our apartment and the thermostat is set to 64. Meanwhile, we are being charged "premium rent". This place is an absolute JOKE. Noisy neighbors? I can assure you nothing will be done about it. We've submitted over 10 noise complaints for our loud upstairs neighbors over the course of a year lease. If 3 feet of concrete and insulation isn't enough, you've gotta be pretty freakin loud. I'm running as soon as my lease is up and will never rent at an SPM property again. Poor living conditions. Please do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs! We pay a lot of money (and I mean an ABSURD amount) to live here due to the $600-$700 power bill on top of base rent and an outrageous $150 parking fee for an unsecured lot, where break ins occur frequently. We can't even get hot water in the winter time. None of the appliances work properly either. We have been begging them to fix the problem for MONTHS and they just won't. I ended up doing some digging on my own due to the frequency of the problem and the source appears to be a burst pipe that is frozen solid because the water heater is located in a room that is exposed to the outside. It'll probably never be fixed. I hate living here. Have you ever taken a cold shower at 6:45am? If you live here, get used to it!
