unfortunately our experience with the MANAGEMENT at Clayton Homes of Albertville was extremely disappointing. The biggest problem was the constant missed timeframes and lack of follow-through. Eric, the manager, repeatedly gave us dates and timeframes that were never met. By the time our home was finally delivered to our property, we had already made TWO FULL PAYMENTS on a home that wasn’t even on our property yet. Eric also made a visit to the property the day after delivery and never even spoke to me or my husband and sure didn’t apologize for all the broken promises and stress we had endured which we felt was extremely unprofessional. We planned our move based on the delivery date we were given, and when that didn’t happen, we ended up paying the moving company $1,000 MORE than expected, plus the cost of a hotel stay. When the home was finally delivered, NO ONE from Clayton Homes was even at our property. Thankfully, my husband was there to answer questions for the delivery crew. I honestly don’t know what would have happened if he hadn’t been there. We also ordered a backsplash with our home, but it arrived without one. We were then told we hadn’t ordered it. The model home we viewed had the backsplash, and I have messages and pictures from the buying process where I was specifically asked WHAT COLOR backsplash I wanted. It’s very frustrating to later be told we didn’t order something when I have the messages showing that conversation took place. We had a similar issue with the skirting. We were told we were getting BLACK METAL skirting. Instead, a grayish-colored skirting was installed that doesn’t match our siding. When we questioned it, we were told they didn’t carry black. If black wasn’t available, that should have been communicated BEFORE installation—not after we questioned why we received something different from what we had been told. Finally, we were promised a $2,500 Visa gift card as compensation. Eric gave us THREE separate days and time frames that the card was supposed to be ready, and each time it wasn’t. After weeks of waiting, I finally contacted Clayton corporate myself. We did eventually receive the card, but I truly feel that if I hadn’t continued pushing and contacted corporate, we may never have received it. My complaint is NOT about the home itself, It’s about the way our purchase and delivery were managed through the Albertville office. We dealt with missed timeframes, additional expenses, two house payments before the home was even on our property, a missing backsplash, skirting that wasn’t what we were told we were getting, and repeated promises that weren’t followed through on. Buying a home should be exciting. Instead, we spent far too much of this process chasing answers and trying to get things we had already been promised. Clayton Homes of Albertville seriously needs improvement in management, communication, accountability, and follow-through. I sure wish we would have read all these reviews before choosing Clayton Homes. I will say the young guy who did the welcome home for us and the repairs was very helpful and kind .

I purchased a home from Clayton Homes in Albertville and I had an outstanding experience. We started looking around September of 2024 and we continued searching for the perfect home the next 4 months. We were up there every other week trying to decide and Nick Jackson was our main guy. He was always ready to show us all the homes on their lot in out budget with such a positive attitude. He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. One thing he kept telling us was to take our time and pick the correct one because this could be our forever home. After months of praying we finally decided what we wanted and in January of 2025 we ordered the Boujee XL2. Our home was fully constructed by April 2025 and we were able to move in by May 2025. Nick not only assisted us with finding out home but he assisted us through the set up and made sure we had good contractors there. 1yr and 5 months later and we are still pleased with our purchase from Clayton Homes of Albertville. If you are looking for a nice affordable home contact Nick Jackson and he will assist you(: Also during our first year in our home we were able to contact the Albertville office to get any minor details and Damon was an outstanding repair man.

Do not buy this garbage. I have a 2021 top of the line mobile home and the sub par plumbing is destroying my house one fitting at a time. I called manufacturer and the basically told me oh well we got your money. Your compla

Nick is my sales person he was awesome really helped me decided if I wanted to get a new home he helped me understand everything he was great. Once the home was delivery he was with me and communicate with me step by step anytime I needed him he answered. Free things took little longer than I wanted but they kept me informed what was going on so I would be aware of when things would be done but they were also short handed at the time so it took little longer to get some stuff done but they got it done.
